We have owned several of these microwavable heating packs. They work as described and retain heat for a long time because of the weight of the pack and the clay composition. They are comfortable for most uses. One word of caution: Do NOT microwave longer than the recommended time!! If you do, the pack will sooner or later burst in your microwave and become unusable.

This is a very well-made ice pack. I have used it for years and have found it to be sufficient for my needs. I would recommend it to anyone.

nothing i can say poorly about item. stays cold for a long time, and definitely stays hot for even longer i feel like. have a herniated disc in lower back and this item helped me keep going, making me able to at least go to work.

Great hot/cold pack
Perfect for relieving muscle aches and pains. I use it mostly for heat on my lower back. I can't say enough good things about how much better I feel after using it!

A better environmental option
I freeze mine. Nice even coldness lasting a good 30 minutes. These are heavier which I like because it helps keep them in place and the weight I find comforting.
