ThermoPro 2-in-1 Infrared Thermometer & Instant Read Meat Thermometer for Grilling BBQ Pizza Oven

I purchased this item for home use and for use for high volume cooking at an Elks Lodge, and in my church kitchen. I would give it 5 stars, But with all the different readings on the display screen it made it difficult to see the temperatures of the probe and/or thermal reading. Also, the magnet isn’t strong enough to hold it in place on any metal surface. I would still recommend for the price and features.

I work as a food safety specialist and use this thermometer. I calibrate it every day, and have never had an issue. For the price they last about a year of daily use. Would recommend! Very easy to use, easy to replace batteries if needed. It reads quickly. It has a clear, easy to read display, which you can change from °C to °F if wanted.

I've been wanting to purchase this particular 2 in 1 meat thermometer for some time now. everywhere I have looked has had this one listed for around $40 . I had a hard time justifying spending that much money. I just so happened to come across Walmart having it on rollback for $20 and I purchased it. Firstly, it is a good sized thermometer with a nicely lit screen. it seems to be accurate and read temps very quickly. I appreciate that is comes with included batteries as well. another perk that I very much enjoy is the magnet on the back side of the unit. This makes it very easy to stick to the side of my pellet grill hopper and have easy access to the thermometer, while still being out of my way. one thing I wish I could change is on the infrared sensor, I would have loved to have a laser so you know exactly where youre pointing the sensor. I temped my blackstone with the infrared and I was seeing very quick readings, as far as accuracy goes I'm not too sure, as this is my first infrared thermometer. I'm sure it is fine enough based off the other temp probe. I would purchase this model again and may do so to keep one in the kitchen and one in my grilling area.

The quality of the thermometer is really good. Built with quality materials. Measurement seems accurate. Though the price is on the high side, it is expected to last for a long time.

We’ve gone through many non-digital meat thermometers that don’t last. This is accurate and my husband loves that the meat is never overcooked. We use it when baking bread and heating mixtures, too. The scan option is nice.

Overall it's a good device for a decent price. The infrared thermometer provides quick reads once you get the hang of using it. It's nice to have the probe to check food also, with quick reads. has strong magnetic backing and loop for hanging on a hook. It auto shuts off quickly. Wish it was rechargeable. It works well and fits needs as a budget friendly option from a reliable brand. Can't speak to battery life because I haven't had it long enough, but based on other products I've owned from this brand, my guess is a quality battery will have longevity.

States reading in 2-3 seconds, it might start the reading then, but it takes longer to get the full reading

not very accurate, i dont care what their range of error claims. this also died before a month was up. trying to scan started showed starting temperatures of 800 or so that would just continually count up a few degrees at a time until maxing out, even when pointing at room temperature objects like walls or cabinet doors that were nowhere near a heat source. ill be buying another brand to replace this garbage.

It quit working in two days after I bought it try changing out batteries
