It works for a cushioned surface, but also gets damaged fairly easily. Should work fine if you're just doing yoga with bare feet, but any other shoes or items on it leave marks.

The extra length is nice. The foam is soft, but very hard packed and there is not enough "grip" to keep your hands and feet from sliding during down dogs and planks, etc, even on the textured side. The smooth side is totally impossible. Very light weight, but bulkier than my previous foam pad. Went back to my old foam pad.

Since this mat is made of light foam, it is too light and not that flexible. Instead, I prefer something thin and heavy (rubbery) so that it is flexible and with conform of this one.

Doesn't hold up! On the first use, it had holes and deep depressions in it. Did not have on shoes, just socks for low impact exercises. Do not recommend. If it we weren't in quarantine, I would have returned it.

The mat is thick but not durable. On my first use, it just ripped apart. It's flimsy. I contacted customer support for help on the manufacturer site but no response. So overall not worth the money.

Do not buy this mat! It is foam with no vinyl or any kind of slip resistant coating. It will not stay unrolled unless you wt it down on each edge. I even backrolled it trying to help, which did not help at all. The first use, started with a plank. Where my elbows rested, left deep impressions in the mat and 10 hrs later, they are still just as deep. I am returning it asap. The ONLY PRO is it's thickness, which was the reason I purchased it. The quality and price DOES NOT compare to what I normally pay for a good quality Yoga mat that is only a few dollars more than this one.

If I could give less than one star I would. The mat is not durable enough to use with shoes on. The rubber soles of your tennis shoes will wear up the mat after one use. The mat is slipper upon contact with hands with minimal moisture. After the first use the mat was scarred in multiple areas. Carrying strap is stretch. I imaged a carrying strap that would go over my shoulder however you can barely fit your hand in-between the mat and the "handle." This mat is good for yoga only. Too bad I ruined it doing a tabata class. :(

This mat slips all over the place. I can't use it without falling from the slipping. Don't waste your money. If I had carpet I most likely wouldn't even need the mat. It also had a hole in it about 2/3 way across and if it didn't slip and slide all over the place, I think this hole would have been the catalyst to rip the mat apart.

This is a thick foam material, not the yoga mat material. The straps that came with it also left marks that have still not went away after a few weeks of being rolled out. I DO NOT RECOMMEND purchasing.

The material is so light/soft that my feet have made permanent impressions after two uses, and my shoes already created tears in the surface. After two uses it looks like I've had it for years. Really bad quality.
