Timberline Natural Cedar Mulch Blend, 2CF

I purchased Timberline Natural Cedar Mulch Blend because of an infestation of ground bees in my raised bed last summer. I grew beautiful healthy kale and collard plants. I wasn't able to harvest any. I was stung several times. Finally I gave up and called an exterminator. After the exterminator sprayed, the greens were not editable. In my research for natural alternatives, I discovered that the cedar smell deters ground bees. Timberline Natural Cedar natural color Mulch's price fits my budget. Most importantly for me, this mulch is NSC certified and verified to be free of toxic wood preservatives. This mulch also prevents weeds. The 2 cu ft bags are economical.

Ordered 4 bags (2cu). Perfect cedar color, no garbage or debris in bags. Easy to spread, looks great in front of my deck. No awkward smell, just cedar after it rains. Priced right, highly recommend. Thanks Walmart

I love the texture of the mulch. I just got it put out so I dont know how it works over a period of time but my flower beds look lovely. My son told me it smelled like cedar. Because of Covid, I have lost my since of smell so I personally dont know. The color is a brown color, like dead leaves. I am very satisfied with what it.

I am trying to contacontact Walmart. I cannot get a message that is being acted upon. The function within the shipping app messages is not working as to specific delivery instructions. I need the bags placed outside my home to be moved to under the pine tree. I cannot have bags of mulch that I cannot lift in by my front door. Please help me a call came through. I was told to press a number on my keypad and no matter how many times I push that number it would not receive a message please help me and call me and have sent person to my home please thank you.

I am so grateful to the delivery person for putting mulch bags on my porch. I'm an elderly woman and it is much easier for me to take down steps into my cart than pick up at ground level. Many thanks. SS

Competitively priced. I ordered cedar because we've had issues with spores from generic wood mulch, that then sprays artillery spores on our cars, and they are VERY hard to remove! Love the smell of cedar. I can't attest to the duration of the color, but from experience, cedar lasts for a bit longer than mixed hardwood.

We purchased 26 bags of Timberline Cedar Blend mulch in March of 2026. As for being mulch, it is, as for the amount of Cedar, appears to be low. There is little to no Cedar aroma, not even when wet. It is a good mulch for the $$$. If you are after the Cedar smell, you can buy a couple of bags of pure Cedar mulch for a much more expensive cost and add to this. It works well.

I purchased several bags of Timberline Natural Cedar Mulch . The bags I received seemed old and sun bleached. I was fairly disappointed when I used these for my flower garden. After all the hard work weeding it I found this mulch aesthetically underwhelming. I don't recommend this color get a nice red or black that will make those flowers pop.

Kinda bordered on 2 or 3 stars. Not full cedar, I guess why that's why they call it a blend although Walmart website just says cedar. Actually contains cedar, "natural forest products and/or recycled wood products" found some trash in a few of the bags. Mostly small plastic bag remnants, one large hunk of foam. Overall looks decent when spread out, smell is a little weak when compared to full cedar mulch.

In giant letters on the package , it says cedar mulch..... In tiny letters on the package , it says mixed wood mulch. It does not smell anything like Cedar. It was not cheap and I do NOT recommend this product!
