Absolutely recommend

Raychel December 8, 2025

This is the very best pepper blend I've used. I put it on everything. The flavors are so complimentary and not too over powering.

Absolute Favorite

Kaitlin July 10, 2019

I recently bought most of the Traeger Rubs for my husband's birthday, and this one is hands down my favorite of them. Black pepper and garlic and delicious! I put it on eggs, in my pasta, pretty much everything and it just makes it better.

This. Here. The One.

-dan'l July 22, 2019

Every time I pull Blackened Saskatchewan out -- ribs, port, steaks, jerky, even chicken, I get rave reviews from friends. This will have a permanent place on my spice shelf.

My "GO TO" spice when I want to impress.

MrRosie July 6, 2024

I have used many spices over the years. I have made my own mix as well. But when it comes to the spices I can ALWAYS count on....Blackened Saskatchewan from Traeger is the bomb. It is a strong rub, but I haven't tasted anything better on beef {Prime Rib, Brisket, etc) and pork ( baby backs, shoulder, etc). People will go nuts on the first bite of your creation, and the crust that this spice delivers is unbelievable. Did I mention that I love this spice?? :0)

I've only used this rub with one recipe (blackened salmon), but this stuff is the bomb!

RUB

CindyB December 25, 2019

We use this "rub" on everything. I have a container on the kitchen table and one in the cupboard. The best tasting RUB ever. We're addicted to it and our grandsons love this blend. Thank you for an awesome RUB.

My favorite so far

Dante March 19, 2017

There were too many options to choose from so we got the sample pack and have been working our way through it. We tried the BLACKENED SASKATCHEWAN tonight and will absolutely be picking up a full shaker the next time we are at our grill store. This is delicious and would be great on a wide variety of meats and would work with many meals

Be generous

Gladys January 1, 2020

We are just getting acquainted with our new Traeger so our experience is limited. We are learning that being very generous with rubs is a key. We used Saskatchewan on New York steaks and were only regretful we did not use lots more!

Blackened Saskatchewan seasoning

Matthew p September 21, 2024

I would have given 5,stars but the seasoning package was not sealed when I received it. But it is still one of my favorite seasonings the flavor of it is amazing. I honestly never use any condiments like a1 ,or 57 steak sauce on my steaks ever since I started using blackened Saskatchewan seasoning. it is truly one of the best.
