Surge bar hefty and sturdy, does not feel cheap. The 8-foot cord is convenient and like the flat plug 5 regular spaced outlets and and 3 other outlets that accommodate the larger adapter plugs. Like that you can close off the outlets not being used.

Tripp lite makes the best surge protectors bar none. I like that it has sliding covers to protect ports and the ports are very durable and well made and the layout is nice for a variety of setups. I also love that the power switch is at the top and easy to use unlike many who have it on the side/hard to reach area for some reason.

I had an inadequate junk power strip, not a power conditioning surge protector. I would plug things into it and it would spark. Since purchasing the Tripp-Lite surge protector I have not had any issues. I feel that the computer equipment is getting a consistent flow of electricity and that puts my mind at ease about the longevity of the electronics plugged into it. I would recommend it to anyone.

I have had tripplite products for many years. When looking for a surge protector, my first thought was to search for Tripplite products. This 8 outlet surge protector is nice due to its 3 sideways outlets which are perfect for wall warts that would normally cover up 2 or 3 outlets in a standard laid out surge protector. With an integrated on/off switch and LEDs to show everything is protected and grounded, I just wish they would move their manufacturing to the USA.

I currently use 2 extreme gaming virtual reality machines on one trip.lite surge protector. I have yet to have any issues but I knew this going in because I trust Tripp.lite brand most major tech companies use them just like I did when I worked for a network infrastructure company.

We bought a new tv and speakers but didn't have an extra surge protector. After much research, we purchased this surge protector and so glad we did. While we were gone on a week long trip, we had a horrendous thunderstorm! The power went out a couple of times during our absence. Bad news? We returned to a couple of trees that had lost limbs and damaged our air conditioner. Good news? Our new tv/speakers were not damaged! Great purchase!

It served my purposes. I wanted something to maximize the outlets I had in my room (hidden behind furniture) but with a switch so I could also save on electricity. Takes my TV and sound equipment fine. Along with my laptops, cell chargers, lamp, and more.
