I'm a new soccer coach for my son's U6 team. I have no idea what I am doing but this whistle made feel official as well as ‘herding the cats' a little easier.

Yes. Yes! YES!!
I purchased this for a family field day for 40 kids. Let's just say I felt like an NFL referee :). Would buy more of these if there was a need. It also doesn't take much to blow for a loud sound. So Clear!

Best for price
Needed to find a whistle with a strap for my paddle boards that are over 10ft long. Per my state requirements got pulled over on the water and let go with a warning whistles are part of a requirement needed for each person on board. I wanted ones with a strap so I can strap them to the lifejackets for easy access and these were the best price with a strap. Work as a whistle should!

Gets the job done
Does what it needs to do. It's not the loudest whistle but it gets the job done and for a good price. Good value for the price.

Nice plastic whistle with no ball bearing. It uses triangle shaped openings to create the sound. It's very loud. I love the rubber cover at the end, which makes it easier on my teeth.

Good for recreational use
Used to call time for my son's recreation league soccer games. Good sound, but I do have to blow fairly hard to make it loud enough.

Just OK
Not as loud as the whistle with a pea in it which is also less expensive. Purchased 2 based on the previous review. Returning the unopened one and getting the old fashioned kind. (By the way, I purchased 3 whistles--2 of these and 1 with the pea in it. I was able to compare the loudness. Per the description, this has a 115db and the other 126db. It does make a difference.)
