Umien 6" Mortar and Pestle Set

I love the design. It's wide open, heavy and doesn't slide around after you add the foot pad it comes with. The pestle (handle) fits comfortably in my hands, it's weighed very well and does most of the work for me. I made quick work with crushing rice, I'm sure it'll work very well with herbs. I am using it to crush dry chicken feed crumble into a powder for baby quail and it works better than all 9 of my other mortar and pestle sets and it was cheaper than my other volcanic stone one also. I love it! You really should get one. I mashed wet feed in it also to see how it would handle making a paste, it went quickly. the open shallow design was very useful.

I have never owned a mortar and pestle so I thought I would try one for making salsa and grinding spices. I absolutely love this one made from granite. It is very high quality and easily grinds ingredients for a delicious homemade salsa. My husband and I both love it!

Excellent service! Unit arrived on time and very well packed. The mortar's 8 Inch is perfect to make pesto and alioli and it is solid! Very pleased with the product.

My hubby bought this for me. Have not used it yet but have gotten it seasoned. But from what I have seen it's wonderful. I love that it's heavy durable

Exceeded my expectations all around. Looks great - almost like a prop. Haven’t used it yet because it looks so good! I may get another to actually use.

It was a lot large than I expected.

It’s a great piece but the pestle is broken have to take it back
