Fits previous similar ten year old version with same brand name. I simply unplugged the old unit, replaced the ceiling mount with the new one, and plugged in the new unit (because it had the same fitting). BUT won't know the battery life until 10 years past. The old one DID last 10 years though.

Great item replaced one that was 13 years old and was no longer working. 10 year warranty on alarm and battery. One of the great things about this unit is that it has a Lithium battery that last 10 years, no need to replace 9 volt batteries. Easy to install just need to replace the mounting bracket. It plugs right into the existing wiring from the old unit. I like it so much I think I am going to replace the other 4 in my home.

I needed to replace a like kind detector and could not find it at Lowes, Home Depot or Ace. I was amazed Walmart carried it and it was in stock at the local store at a better price than mail orders. It was a relatively simple replacement and to date is working great.

It's a great device that measures more than one thing which is extremely important, especially having children in the home. It's a great value for a great item.

Exactly what I needed at a very reasonable price. My old hardwired smoke and Co2 detector was beeping due to having reached the end of its life. This was a newer model that didn't require a 9 volt battery and fit the 3 prong connector perfectly. Thank you!

was not easy to install soonest i install it alarm kept sounding followed instructions to how to reset was not resetting try it 4 times finally without doing anything different started working so i don't know

This never arrived and walmart refuses to ship a replacement of this critical device. They want me to wait another 48 hours in addition to the 24 hours it was already late. I don't order a fire/smoke/co detector for leisure but because my current device is broken. Order somewhere else.

I received an open box item the plastic wrap inside the box was open and the alarm was not the one that I purchased. I send the item back and waiting for my replacement.

It goes off and will not turn off even after pressing and holding the button. No way to reset it, I have to basically disconnected from the power and take out the battery. Very disappointed.
