You have to follow the instructions on the box properly, water just before boiling, set aside briefly, put it in with a timer for 10 to 15 seconds, take out with a wooden spoon, (more in the instructions)… My dentist told me I needed it for sleeping so I wouldn't keep grinding my teeth, just one, upper or lower. I tried both and the top one is perfect for me. I had to use the bigger one and just did some light trimming. I love the case and it even has some holes for venting. Great price and fast shipping!
Was a bit skeptical about purchasing, but happy I did! Impressed with everything about this product (molding, form setting)!
I have been so pleased with the mouthguard. It was easily fitted to my teeth, and I sleep in it every night.. So much more comfortable than most I have had in the past
First, I thought I only got 2 pieces but you have to open the retainer case to find the remaining 2 pieces. This one fit better than ones I've used in the past and stays in place all night. I did notice it was a little long, but I trimmed the ends and it's working fine. I purchased this because I was having nerve issues due to grinding my teeth at night. Within a couple nights, the pain went away. This was after visiting a dentist and an endodontist with intense pain. It really was helpful in my recovery!
too much side guard oninside
Works great. No more mouth pain when I wake up in the morning.
I almost threw away the two larger guards thinking they were for men. But they shrink quite a bit during the molding process so I'm glad I didn't and I prefer them over the smaller ones, but I can wear all four.. That's quite a bargain over what you pay at the dentist and mine are very comfortable. Minus one star for the confusing directions - one on the box and one inside - both different. I found the boiling process worked best for me. But you can re-do if you mess up.
My son is a grown man and still grinds his teeth omg oh this is the best thing for people with grinding teeth
It may be nothing against this mouthguard. It's probably just me, but I tried a couple and I just can't wear them. They make me feel like I'm choking. I certainly wouldn't wear them while sleeping in case I did choke. I just don't think mouthguards are for me. I don't know if this mouthguard was too thick. I'm certainly not knowledgeable about these. That's why I gave it fewer stars.
Instructions inside the box contradicted instructions printed on the box. Instruction sheet inside box directs the user to read a label on the guards -- there is no label. While 4 guards are provided, there are no instructions that describe their use. Are 2 sets (?) provided to accommodate a large- or small-mouthed user where one set is garbage. I'll figure out how to best use them, but the product would be greatly improved with a bit more clarity on expectations and customization.
