The pain pills do help, so I do recommend buying this kit it you need temporary pain relief from a uti infection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Those of you who suffer occasional bladder and/or urinary problems know how miserable a urinary tract infection (UTI) can make you feel. This product helps with the burning, stinging pain that accompanies a UTI or bladder problem. Follow the instructions about dosing, and take the pills with a full glass of water (and keep well hydrated) to keep the urine diluted. The active ingredient numbs the stinging and helps a lot with the pain; it doesn't cure the infection, but it helps you tolerate it a lot more. Be aware that this medication turns your urine a dark orangey-reddish-brown color (rather alarming for first-time users) that will stain clothing (wear a panty liner to avoid stains) and will temporarily stain the toilet (toilet cleaners with bleach will remove the stain in a jiffy). Recommended highly.
