I am so glad I bought this strainer, it is EXACTLY what I was looking for. It's well built and sturdy. At first I wasn't sure about buying it until I read the reviews and I am so glad I did. I'm buying another one just to have on hand.

I love how this strainer sits on its own and does not need to be held like strainers with a handle. It has little feet so the strainer itself is not touching the counter or sink.

what a great strainer-colander. very roomy for strainer, love the feet, so you can sit it down and the two handles on the sides are strong and durable.

This is a great colander especially for making yogurt, ricotta cheese, or cream cheese. I put a cheese cloth in the colander, and it fits in my XL glass bowl. Helps the drain the whey from the cheese.

This item is perfect for cleaning/washing fruit %26 vegetables if you have a small to medium amount. Good for straing pasta. However, I thought it would be bigger. I am skeptical about it being 3 quarts, but overall, I'm happy with it.

great medium size colander…works perfect for items that need a fine mesh strainer…the handles and the “feet” make this a daily use kit hen utensil for me

Good for spaghetti noodles- i like the two handles - it's very sturdy and doesn't tip over easily like those one handle things
