What can I saw except these carbines can be used for so many things. I keep at least one attached to my backpack when traveling so I can attached my pillow to the back pack. Have others that attach the hammock to the chain on both ends. The uses are endless and I can't have enough carabiners around for various utilities.
I love this product! I have three sets of keys all of which have heavy attachment on them. This product allows me to securely hook my keys on my belt loops without worrying about them falling out of my pocket or having to hold them in my hand. Love them.
Utility Series Utility Metal Locking Carabiner 2 Pack The Utility Series Metal locking Carabiner has been an answer to my prayers. I carry a backpack to work each day and sometimes I need an extra hand. Keeping up with many small item takes a toil on me. Sometimes I don't have room to include everything inside the backpack. With this carabiner I am able to clip these and other items on my backpack and feel secure that I would not lose them. The carabiner measures 3 inches long and 1.5 inches wide. The Utility Metal Locking Carabiner comes in a 2-pack and allows the metal design comes with a twist locking mechanism for added security. It comes in a black and titanium color. I use these clips to carry my small umbrella, my office keys, and my water bottle on my backpack. I find that the clip with its twist locking mechanism allows me to easily remove an item with one hand even sometimes while I am wearing my backpack. There are many practical uses for these clips. I utilize the clips to hold my grocery bags together. They are very strong and makes it easier to carry. I will certainly share and recommend these clips with my friends and family. They are designed very well and will make your life easier.
This carabiner feels sturdy and solid and has a nice design. Using them to hold my keys to my backpack or belt loop. The twist locking mechanism is reassuring that they won't unexpectedly open which has happened before with other devices. Good product.
I received the Utility Series Utility Metal Locking Carabiner 2 Pack to try out to see what I thought of them. It is a pack of 2 - 3 inch carabiners for utility use ONLY, these are NOT climbing grade- but they aren't the cost of climbing grade either. I like that they are locking and not just the flip catch. There is a screw cap that locks the flipper shut so that it can't accidentally come open. At first I though, eh, I'll use them to hook my keys to my purse so that I don't loose my keys. This is a great use case, but after I had them I found hundreds of more uses for them. They bundle the handles of grocery bags so I can loop it over the built in hook my car has in the back. I put them through the heel loop of my sneakers and hooked them to my backpack- as shown in my photo. This worked for my water bottle as well, making my hands free. You can latch things to your bike or stroller. They work great to tie down a tarp over lawn furniture, firewood or things we are transporting in the back of the truck. I also want to keep a few in our RV, there are so many uses for the there especially on our hiking gear. The whole family has found uses for them. I now need more for my original intended use--to latch my keys to my purse.
We are very impressed with the Utility Series Carabiner 2-pack. We use carabiners quite often on our farm. We use them to hang our mineral cups on the fence, tie-down tarps, help locking gates, etc. They are invaluable to us. And, we have used many different brands of carabiners over the years. These Utility Series carabiners are sturdy, easy to open, and one of my favorite features, you can easily lock the carabiner. The twist locking mechanism guarantees your carabiner will stay closed. While these are sturdy and durable carabiners, they are not for use in climbing. For my needs, these carabiners are perfect. I recommend for anyone who needs a well-made carabiner.
I have so many different keys and need to be able to take them off of a key ring at various times. These are great for holding all of the different key rings. I love that it has a feature that screws it to lock into place. I'm sure I will think of many other uses for it too.
I use these clips in place of the slide clips that come with traditional dog leashes. I have 2 escape artists dogs. These clips stay closed & locked. I would recommend them. The only reason that I gave them 4 star is because I want to see how long they hold up.
This item is seemingly very lightweight, however it is constructed very well. It is very strong and will last long. Whether you're hooking this to other tools or using it as a key chain, it is built to last. It's also very nice that it comes with two colors: Black and Gun Metal. The twist locking mechanism on the latch is also very nice and provides the added security of the lock on the latch. All in all, a very well made product. Would purchase again.
Got it online cause I lost one for my hammock. Let's just say if you are planning on using it for something like that DON'T. 1 use and BOTH of them broke. The inside part just snapped. Total waste of money. Idk what you could use this for that wouldn't weigh too much that it would snap. Also not a great metal. Very cheap plastic like metal. Moral of the story try a different one. Not worth it.
