If you are serious about driving your car for a long time- have already drove your car for a long time, or just want the best…. Use this product. Restore and protect has increased my fuel mileage on my 100,000 vehicle by 4mpg highway after three oil changes. My dipstick looks brand new. The inside of my engine is spotless. I won't ever use another product. Highly recommended
I used Valvoline Restore on my son’s 62K mile 2017 Tacoma. While not abused, my son hasn’t been “perfect” with his oil changes either. I changed the oil at 68K and replaced the same with Restore and Protect. Note how the varnish is gone from the dipstick in the before and after pics within 6K miles of use.
Valvoline Restore and Protect is the only oil we use in our vehicle and it has been for years! It keeps our car running perfectly! Walmart carries it cheaper than anywhere else that we have found and the delivery is quick and free!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I World undoubtedly continue to recommend this product. Its durability is unmatched- un like any other-and its efficiency is excellent; furthermore, when we tested it it produced absolutely no noise
Good quality full synthetic motor oil. Especially targeted for high mileage modern cars that may have some sludge build-up. Cars that were made to use a low viscosity synthetic engine oil.
Valvoline Restore and Protect is a great quality oil that you can get at your local Walmart. I've been using Amsoil for quite some time but have made the switch because of the quality, accessibility, and affordability.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an older vehicle that is 15 years old and has 151500 miles on it. I use this Valvoline Restore & Protect Full Synthetic Motor Oil 5W-20 5 quart size for my oil change. It is an investment that has kept my car running well. My car also does not burn oil like some. I like to keep this on hand in case I need to add oil in between Valvoline oil changes. I prefer Synthetic over regular oil as it lasts longer between oil changes and the added cost is worth it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is an amazing price for the quantity you get. It’s easy to open and use. I kept it in my trunk knowing my car burns extra oil so I was able to stay on top of my oil on the go. It helped keep my vehicle in great running order and perfect compatibility with all 4 vehicles within my household.
I don't know much about the “restore and protect” but I figure it would help my high milage Subaru that likes to eat oil. It still eats oil, but not quite as bad and at least I'm rest assured they claim it helps clean deposits… though I'm not sure how well for horizontal boxer engines.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently switched to Valvoline Restore & Protect Full Synthetic Motor Oil and so far I’m impressed with the quality. I can’t say for certain how well it will perform long term until I get through this oil change cycle, but the initial results are promising. The oil pours clean, and I like the fact that Valvoline designed it specifically to help clean existing deposits while preventing new ones. It gives me some peace of mind knowing the engine is getting protection against wear while also being restored internally. Overall, I’m satisfied with the switch and look forward to seeing the results at the next oil change.
