Vibrant Life 100 W Aquarium Heater

Our aquarium is in a colder room in our house and our red boxed turtle is getting up there in years. She started spending most of her time staying near the one heater in her tank. We thought putting in a second heater would help keep her water warmer and the new heater we bought from Walmart has done the trick. We like that we can easily adjust the temperature setting on the new heater and it came complete with the suction cups so it can be fastened anywhere we want it. It is very well made and it has a lighted temperature pattern that we can view from the top of the tank even though it is submerged. Very pleased with our new heater!

Although it's big, it keeps temperature at an even temperature amazingly. It's constantly the same. The dial is easy to change up and down to figure out the right temperature for your needs. I have snails so I just added a lot of plants to hide the heater and it works out perfectly for my needs. Again, it keeps temperature so evenly it's amazing

This heater saved my fish from the freeze in Florida. It is easy to use, has adjustable water temperature setting and can be mounted easily with suction cups included. It is about 8" in size and glass, so it's basically hidden from view.

Because it all worked as expected. However directions on use of the product could be a little better?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy setup, just adjust the dial on top to change the temperature setting, submerge, and plug in. Unfortunately, mine stopped working after two days. It says it's fully submersible so i tried the horizontal orientation, I wonder if that contributed to its early demise? Maybe do the vertical mounting instead.

Had this heater set at 75. Approx 10 days after use, it was lying at the bottom of the tank. When I pulled it out, I noticed the clips and suction cups were melted. Water temp was 72. This could've been damaging to my turtle and my filter which has a plastic casing.

I open the box and a no aquarium heater. It felt very lightweight. I'm not sure why the shopper did not notice. There was nothing in there. Very upsetting!

It was smelling like fire
