I haven't used this one yet, but I have one in my other tank already. It is super consistent in my 6g tank. I keep he water at 79F for my betta. Despite occasional house temperature swings it stays steady. This brand usually lasts me at least 2 years or more. Other brands were more expensive and shorted out much faster, or did temperature swings. I like that it is fully adjustable. It's nice to be able to make the water warmer for sick tropical fish. Turning up the temperature can also help battle ick breakouts in tanks. It's a trustworthy brand to have on hand. Still always be cautious and checking the tank temp everyday twice a day to ensure it's working.

Exactly what I needed
My betta Sashimi loves the tropical water temp. It worked fast and is awesome at keeping the temp! Easy to setup as well!
