Vibrant Life Aspen Wood Pet Bedding, 24 L Bag

I bought this for my mushroom growing and micro-greens sprouting. Works great for both. I reuse it after each micro green harvest by thoroughly removed any bad seeds and roots left behind from the harvest, then I boiled, it, let it cool 100% before the next sprouting. The cleaning process will take some times. I discard anything not usable in my garden. I don't need much for the sprouting, see pictures. I did half with seed starter and half with this, I preferred this substrates, because its cleaner and I can eat the sprouts picked straight from the grow mat. I still have a lot left in the bag for many, many more uses.

I liked that i could have aspen wood pet bedding delivered. didn't like that they put the bedding right in front of my door. could not open front door because bedding was blocking the doorway. Next time please don't put bedding so close to doorway. in all everything is good. Thank you Al Valenzuela

I've been using this aspen bedding for my cockatiels for years and it's been consistently reliable. The pieces are clean, it absorbs well, and it helps keep the cage fresh between changes. The bag is a great size for the price, so it lasts a while and feels like real value. I keep coming back to this one.

I use this for my Hognose snake and it is a good bedding . My hoggie likes to dig around in it and the dust is not bad at all. I usually buy this at the feed store, but I dumped water in his bedding and had to emergency change it and feed store was not open. Walmart was and this stuff did that trick. Would buy again if I need it right away.

Aspen costs a little more than pine or cedar shavings, but previously using cedar made my pet rat extremely ill. Only aspen is good for the small pets and these shavings were just what I needed.

Used this as a mulch and Cold-weather protection of a young (< 6") citrus tree in my backyard. No dust, non-allergenic, easy to apply. Will gradually work it ibto the soil over the season

This is fine for larger or furry animals but not for reptiles especially snakes. Its a coarse cut not as soft as the more shredded kind made specifically for reptiles.

I bought this bedding for my two rabbits and I found huge chunks of wood pieces in the bag. I had to sort through and take out the many big pieces of wood for each rabbit cage to ensure they did not sustain injury. Rabbits like to flop their bodies to the floor of their cages and somewhat bury themselves in the bedding! This kind of bedding could injure small animals and I would not recommend this product for larger animals as well, if it is going to contain large pieces of wood!!!

I have been getting bags more than 5X this size for this price. I was shocked to see how small the bags were. Two bags would not begin to cover my small chicken house.

used this when Walmart was out of the one I usually buy. put this in my pets clean cage and the next day it looked like I hadn't even cleaned it's cage. product is rough and will not buy it again
