Vibrant Life Cotton Rope Cat Scratching Post with Dangling Ball, White and Gray, 17" x 12"

This is pretty small, so keep that in mind. I got it to fit in my RV, and it's great for that. I have three cats. Two are big boys, and they are not much smaller than this post. But they use it, and that is what matters. It's not heavy at the base, so I wedged it under something so they don't pull it over. So, if you don't have a place to put it there, I would recommend this for kittens.

I got this because my cat has this obsession with scratching posts for some reason. I gave her cardboard ones but those just make a mess on the floor, so I switched over to this. I wasn't sure if she'd even notice the ball hanging from the post but she loves batting it around, and the price is good.

Pretty sturdy. Well worth the money, seems like it will last a long time. My kitty is rotten , so far she lounges and plays with the ball, lol. She was destroying my chair so I think she will scratch on this in her play house. It’s nice!

Had to do a little change up as it kept falling. I took a 2x4 that was laying around and screwed it to the bottom of the post. Works perfectly BUT I’ll probably take another 2x4 and do a crisscross on the bottom. Yes I could have returned but my overthinking took over. I recommend IF you adjust as I did.

This is a nice kitty scratcher for KITTENS or very tiny cats. It looks nice, is east to assemble, and provides good training for kittens to learn the scratching posts belong to them, not the furniture. As you can see by my pictures, it is too small for full grown cats and will not hold up. The pole is thinner so will be great for babies. And the height is more suited for kittens because a cat cannot stretch up on it's hind legs to scratch. I do recommend for kittens tho.

I'm wary of this because there are staples on the pole, in the middle where the two pieces connect. One was loose so I had to hammer it in. I'm worried my cat's might get their claws caught on the staples too, but I'm not sure if I can pull them out? I'm going to keep an eye out. Easy to assemble. Very lightweight, so you need to put something on to weigh it down. Not the best, but for the price, it'll do in the interim until I get a different one.

It’s a good sturdy one considering the price. Easy to assemble But what I don’t like it’s that they put metal pins around, to keep the rope stuck and can be dangerous , because if one gets off, can hurt a cat, if ingested by accident or if falls down after being scratched for weeks, can hurt their paws. I’d strongly advise not to add metallic pins at all and use other safer methods.

My cats seem to like it and started using it and scratching at it right away. It was super easy to assemble. The only thing I have a major issue with is the staples that are sticking out from the middle. Seems very unsafe and I will be keeping a close eye on any of those exposed staples that can come undone and poke my fur babies.

I got this for my kitten. Who at the time was eight months. She is now about to be 10 months old I know i got this for my kitten. Who at the time was eight months. She had to use that maybe twice I think it is just too thic she had to use that maybe twice I think it is just to thin for her and she is a kitten so it might be too small for chance as well. The scratching part needs to be wider I believe and then she would use it more so for my cat my kitten it just wasn't a good fit and we would return it, but the returning period is over. But it might be different for other cats.
