Vibrant Life Stainless Steel Cat Litter Sift Scoop, 1 Count

I recently became a parent to 2 adorable cats. I've never had a cat as a pet, only dogs, so I had to learn to clean a litter box daily. Aside from choosing what brand, type of litter to use the art of scooping was a bit of a challenge. I found myself wasting so much litter daily because the scooper that came with the litter boxes was plastic, it wasn't a solid piece, it did have prongs like a fork but the spaces between each prong was minimal so I threw out a lot of the litter. A friend of mine told me about this scooper so I gave it a try. This scooper was more efficient; I wasn't wasting as much litter because of the larger spaces between each prong. Also, because it was steel it was easier to scrape the bottom of the litter box when needed, I highly recommend.

The Positives: This is a very easy to use litter scoop. It sifts the litter very nicely and quickly. The scoop has a nice width, so you do not have scoop as many times. It is strong, so that you do not have to worry about it bending. The Negatives: The welds on the ends of the individual wires are not perfect. What I mean by that is that some wires may have disconnected from the end of the scoop. I purchased two of these, and one came with a broken weld. I was going to send take it back and have another sent, however I just intertwined it with the adjacent wire, and used it like it is. It would be nice if the handle was a bit longer. Regardless of the negatives, I would purchase it again, and recommend this as it is definitely better than most of the scoops out there, and exceptional for the price.

I saw a few reviews talking about breaking the welds on these or the handle breaking... Are you kidding me? These scoops are tanks! I saw a local animal rescue that has been around for several decades using these. They have like 60 cats! That should say something about the quality! In my own personal use they are super duty! I have another brand that is also metal that I like too, but I need these for pine pellets. The other scoop doesn't work well with pine pellets, but this one will! Actually if you buy regular pine pellets instead of the pine pellet litter these are still a little narrow. I "tweaked" mine by bending them a little with pliers so the regular pine pellets will sift, but some of the poop will also get through when you do that. It is probably best not to bend them and just dump a few pine pellets that didn't sift. Most of them will sift OK anyway. The only way I can see someone breaking these is if they are trying to dig a hole in red clay mud in their yard! I just don't see it. I mean you got to remember, some people want to blame their own misuse on something else. Maybe they stepped on theirs or ran over it with their car? Who knows, but under "normal" litter box scooping, if you break these, your cat needs to see a vet, because he or she is pooping cement! Lol By the way, if you use this scoop with regular cat litter it will cut the time it takes to scoop in half! I take care of about 30 abandoned cats. 5 are inside my home, 7 kittens are in my shop and the rest are outside. I have 6 litter boxes in the shop and 5 in my house. I am an experienced litter scooper! 😉

Best I've ever had. Gets it all up quickly and efficiently even small crumbles. Does Not hold odor like plastic. Cleans pan great even in corners. Stainless steel is the way to go. I recently went to Stainless steel pan as well. Cleaner and does not hold that nasty litter smell like plastic. May be a little more expensive but so worth every penny.

I don't usually leave five star reviews, but I am very impressed with this litter scoop. It's metal so it's very heavy duty and the spaces between the bars allow for the litter to fall extremely quickly through the slots. I'm very impressed with this design compared to the plastic ones with the little bitty holes.

OH MY! I have two young cats that produce an ENORMOUS amount of waste. I scoop the litter box every time I pee, which is OFTEN! I was using an inexpensive plastic scoop that broke up the clumps. This one doesn't and it's AWESOME! I trashed the worthless plastic one.

I bought a similar one from your main competitor and I thought that was a wonderful scooper but after about 8 months it broke I went ahead and bought this one much more stable and I think it's going to last for a long time but I am going to purchase a second one just to have a backup maybe that's the boy scouting me always have a back-up plan

This is a very large and sturdy litter scoop. It is excellent at scraping the bottom of the litter pan and handling large clumps. It sifts through a litter pan quickly and effortlessly. This is the best litter scoop I have ever owned. I have multiple cats and must clean their litter boxes often. This litter scoop makes it easy. If you want smaller clumps removed, I suggest you get a second scoop with wire mesh.

toss the plastic. so sick of poop and pee sticking to them. so gross. this scoop is the answer. very affordable and easy to use/clean. plastic needs to GO. and this is the best replacement.
