My husband loves this style of solar calculator. Just a basic, good size calculator.

If you have to add the same number multiple times, you must enter it multiple times - you cannot just continue hitting the "+" key. After you enter the last number, you must hit the"=" key or it will add that last number in again. If you want to add say 5% sales tax to a list of numbers, after you hit "=" you can hit "x" 5% and then hit "=" again, but then you need to add extra steps: On my other calculator I was able to hit the "+" key after I hit the % key and the 5% sales tax would add onto the list of figures and give me a total. Now I need to do 3 extra steps: 1. write down the total from the list of figures, 2. multiply the percentage, 3. add the percentage to the re-entered total. I use this every day in my home office, and purchased it because it is solar - we all need to conserve energy however possible.
