Vigo Saffron Yellow Rice, 2 lb, Allergens Not Contained

It has been a long time since I have had Yellow Rice of any kind. I decided to get this bulk pack to keep in the house as a pantry stable along with all the other non-perishables I keep for easy meals or hard times. The smell as it cooks is amazing though you will have to keep an eye on it even in a rice cooker because it will easily brown or burn on the bottom. I'm going to try a little less water with my second batch because it came out a little too soft for my tastes when following the directions. I will definitely be getting more to stock away for future use.

This is the best yellow rice that I have used it is seasoned perfectly and only takes minutes to cook

Yellow rice delicious.

This quick yellow rice is delicious and easy to make. I went to buy another today for a family member and they're now priced at $20 and change. Must be an error because who would pay that for almost 3 lbs of rice

So we used to buy the bags but it made way too much rice for just a 3 person household. I bought this in hope that it would taste the same but it does not. It explains that you need to shake well to coat the rice and we've done that but the taste is still nothing like the bag. The first time we made it, it seemed tasteless. The second time was better. I bought 2 tubs so I'll keep shaking in hopes that each time it gets better!

This is good if needed for last minute but i used it for a party and the guests said my rice was much better than this rice. Recipe calls for 2 cups of water per cup of rice which makes rice very soupy. I added less water for a fluffier rice. I had to add seasonings as this Vigo rice was basically tasteless. I will not buy again.

Ok guys If you're used to buying the Vigo rice in the yellow package. Than do not buy the Vigo Rice in the container. Just made a pan of it Like I usually do. Boy oh boy this is not the same. It taste awful, like they didn't add the same seasoning like they do in the packages. The taste is so far off from the Vigo rice in the yellow package. I even shook the container per the instructions, and its still disgusting. I repeat do not buy this crap in the container. They need to discontinue this ASAP for false advertisment of it being Vigo rice. I sure wish I woulda known what a waste of $5 😞... I won't ever buy Vigo rice in the containers again I tell you that much. What a Rip off.
