You'll need 9000 units of lactase to ensure you'll be free of gastritis when you consume dairy. I used Lactaid for years and watch the price go up and up on each box. This is a shame because it worked well, but the price was getting out of hand. I found this on walmart.com and took a chance. 240 tablets for just under $20. Now I have to take a few more of these than I did Lactaid, but at this amount and at this price who cares?? I love them and they are a great value! They come in a bottle, so no more unwrapping anything. I have them on automatic delivery, which is the first time I've ever done that. I am so pleased with this product. Hopefully you will be too!

Use as directed. Otherwise you'll get constipated. Coming from using Lactaid which you have to take with each meal/snack it was hard to accept that you only need to take one of these per day - not per meal.

Just one tablet for one hour! Fantastic! I had to take up to seven tabs of the old kind of of lactation tabs.

I've been using Lactaid or Equate Dairy Relief Caplets for years. These lactase enzyme caplets seems to work better than either of those products. I have less gastric discomfort after eating ice cream or cheese. Good product!

I tried these for the first time and like the size however, when compared with the other brand I buy in the same dosage, but these pills must be taken beforehand, not with the start of your meal that contains dairy. I also needed to take more with the same meals I eat. Switching back to my more reliable brand that Walmart carries.
