Viva Doria Hickory Smoked Sea Salt (Fine Grain) Hickorywood Salt (2 lb)

I love smoky flavors in foods and have used smoked salt in many things for years. I usually use another brand but decided to give this one a try because the price is much lower. It's just as good with a bit more of a pronounced flavor. One thing I really like about this one is that because the salt is a darker color, it's much easier to see exactly how much you are putting on your foods. The other brand is light in color and it was hard to tell. The ingredient list in this says "Smoked sea salt" so it makes me curious as to why it's so much darker but I'll worry about that another day.

This seasoning adds lots of flavor to almost all meats, just like it was grilled outdoors. It's also great to add to my Onion Chip Dip. Excellent quality and taste.

Nice hickory flavored taste. Good on bbq'd meat, fish, grilled veggies or wherever you want to add a light smoky flavor.

Looking for hickory smoke salt has been a chore. Found several small bottles, but the price for the small amount was ridiculous! This bag will last me a very long time and doesn't break the bank.
