I love my new tv, but I'm not too impressed with the new streaming service. Too much work to find the station one wants to watch. But that's not the tv's fault. There is a terrific picture. The remote is easy to use. When the system isn't buffering the sound is clear and crisp. This is my second Vizio, I only got a new one because I needed a smart television.
This tv has such a great, clear picture! It's a perfect size for my bedroom. I love that all the apps I normally use to stream my shows and movies are already on it and I didn't have to download them or look for them. It makes it super easy for anyone to use!
Perfect smart TV. Especially at this price point. I've always owned Vizios. And I keep coming back to them. Because they are easy to set up, easy to operate and last for a long long time. Mine have gone through move after move and still keep on going strong. The apps are easy to understand. Especially if you are new to smart TV. The color is good. The sound is good. I honestly can't think of any cons. Buy it!
We've been making do with a passed down tv in our family room forever but I was finally able to convince hubby it was time to upgrade. This Vizio 40 Lass FHD LED Smart TV D-Series was super easy to set up and I love that I no longer need my Roku device to access all the great streaming apps. The picture is crisp and clear and any smudges buff clean with a microfiber cloth. The remote allows you to quickly and easily access Netflix, Peacock, Prim, Disney+, Crackles & Tubi without having to go to the app screen. The only small issue I have with the tv is that the volume doesn't get quite as loud as I would like but I have a soundbar to hook up to rectify that so no biggie. Overall a great tv with lots of features for a good price.
I’ve only had my Vizio for a week now and honestly the picture on this tv is beautiful but I can barely play anything on the apps! And I have several apps that I’m paying for(and some are not cheap!) I’m wasting my my money! And it would be nice if I had a tv guide for the channels. I’m disappointed and really wish I had read all the other comments before buying. Most of my tvs come from Walmart (in store purchase) and I’ve never had a problem. This is my second time ordering online in electronics and the first item was returned smh
Should have read the reviews. Purchased in November for our RV. Only turned on a handful of times so far. Second trip out in April and we find vertical lines everywhere. Was mounted and secure so no issues during travel. Seems to be a reoccurring problem with this cheap TV. You get what you pay for I guess. Reviews say its unrepairable and Im not waisting my time dealing with the manufacturer warranty and Walmart only takes returns for 30 days. $200 straight in the trash. I have always used Vizio and will probably continue, but will not be this model again. It's a shame because we dont use the TV in our RV much and hate to spend more just for occasional use. Into the trash you go!
The picture quality is great, but the tv does not have a broadcast guide in it. How can you watch if you don't know what's on. The remote control doesn't work half the time, I allways have problems trying to change channels. I don't recommend this tv. I have a return processing. May get another TCL.
This D series is defective. My sister had warned me that she had to return 2 of these models she had purchased as gifts. She said that the picture just out of the blue had multiple lines in it making it impossible to watch. Lo and behold, one day I turned mine on and viola, lines in the picture. Called Walmart Customer Service who referred me to Vizio Customer Service. Now I must wait to be refunded. Don't waste your money on this series, you'll regret it.
I placed the order on walmart.com for my television when my television was delivered to me, I didn’t think anything was wrong. Once I open my television I noticed the television was completely damaged. The screen was smashed. What do I do? How do I get this either replaced or a refund for my money which, honestly, I would prefer my television to be replaced..
First time I ever tried ordering a big item from Walmart.com. Will never order anything from Walmart again if they do not pay attention to the items they are sending to customers. Bought a brand new TV and never even got to use it. It was shattered when I opened the box.
