Customer Insights: Rated 4.2/5 from 1554 reviews.
The picture quality is better that most other TVs that were much more expensive. It was easy to setup and assemble. The only thing that I would consider a negative is the remote which is very small and doesn't appear to be the same quality as the TV. I am very satisfied overall and would purchase again.
Go big or go home! I measured so many times trying to get the right size and still underestimated how large this tv is. We still love it. Easy to control and great picture.
As I expected, this TV is great. I've had VIZIO TV from 14 years ago that I loved and only because those TV no longer get updated that I purchased this new TV and I'm loving it also.
Pretty good quality and sound on it is better than my soundbar. Pretty big as well. Picture of the tv doesn't even compare to it in real life. You will need two people to install it, if you mounted but it wasn't hard to installed.
The quality of the TV and the picture was great but mine arrived with cracks all along the bottom of the screen. After looking up the same TV on other sites I found the same issue with cracks in the same location. This leads me to believe it's more of a packaging issue as there is no center support in the box , only the edges which allows the packing to shift and add pressure to the bottom when lifting and moving it.
TV took two weeks to ship. 4 days of that was in my state just sitting somewhere and 1 day sitting in my town not being delivered. When it was finally delivered the tv was cracked. I called Walmart customer service to figure out what to do. I literally ordered this TV to be shipped because it wont fit in my vehicle. The lady on the phone was rude and didnt speak english and told me the TV would have to be shipped all the way back to Georgia before they would replace it. I asked if they could expidite the shipping fpr.the replacement since it took forever to get the first one and they shipped me a damaged one. I was rudely told no. I asked to speak to her supervisor to which her reply was "sure but they will just tell you the same thing". i hung up and strapped the TV to the top of the car and took it to the local Wal-Mart to return it, so now no tv and no refund for 10 days. Walmart online and customer service is ridiculous. Shout out to Loni in store she was amazing.
The rating of 1-Star on everything is mostly to get attention for the review. I can't actually rate the picture, the sound, blur, color or anything else. We ordered this last week and it was promptly shipped via Pilot Transport, a division of Maersk Shipping. It left Indiana on the 2nd of September and arrived in their Austin warehouse on the 5th where it sat until today, September 11th. When the driver arrived there was nothing about the box other than a missing plastic strap that would indicate the damage inside. There were a few mall dents in the cardboard exterior but nothing that would worry anyone. I signed for the shipment, brought it inside and began unpacking. Everything looked great up until we began pulling the plastic protective cover off the screen. That's when I first spotted a small crack on the bottom of the screen. We stopped pulling the cover and took pictures. Then, in order to get an idea of how bad the screen was cracked, I plugged it in and turned it on. That's the second picture. Of course these things are difficult to ship due to their fragility and size, but the TV was well packed with lots of foam and a 5/8" piece of corrugated cardboard protecting the screen. I have no idea what it took to smash the screen as bad as it was damaged, but someone along the chain of custody knew something went wrong in shipping. It's insane you can't trust people with your items any longer. I spoke to a rep at walmart.com and was told they could not schedule a freight company to pick this up, despite having delivered it just a little over an hour before we found the damage. We had to box it all back up and transport this 86", 82 pound useless piece of unworking electronics back to our local Walmart. Absolutely unacceptable. My only suggestion would be to find a place where the TV of your choice is sold and find a way to pick it up yourself. Cut out the shipping companies. Nearly every one of them has been compromised by hiring people that don't care a whit about their job, or your stuff.
After waiting for my TV to arrive late i found out that Walmart was not the company handling the TV. I was worried but not unless I ordered and properly installing my new TV on the wall on a brand new mount. I was surprised to find out that the screen was cracked, and when I went to do a refund and was hoping to return them immediately order a new one, they were all out of stock. I am not sure of the agreement between Walmart and Vizio, but I see Walmart is the only retail store that are selling Vizio and making a bad name for the company that I appreciated so much back in the day.
I have never given a bad review. First of all I have bought 5 Vizio TVs over the years, all have been great. I wanted to upgrade to the 86''. First one was delivered DAMANAGED. Returned and ordered again. Second would not power on, called Vizio customer service and they wanted to send a tech out to fix it. NO, I don't want a repaired TV. Returned and ordered again. What are the odds of getting another damaged TV? Apparently the odds are VERY HIGH cause the third one was also damaged, big dent on the top. So I called Walmart and scheduled a return pick up. I have to wait for these to arrive at their warehouse before I get credit for the returns. Over $2730. So now I wait for my credit so I can buy another TV. I like Walmart but I won't try to buy it from them. The problem I think is the shipping. And since Walmart doesn't have the 86" in the store I have no choice but to buy somewhere else. Walmart is the only one that sells Vizio so I'll have to buy another brand, darn it.
Unfortunately this product came with a damaged screen. Walmart would not exchange it m. So had to get a refund.
