These banana pepper rings are inexpensive and really delicious. They elevate a sandwich like no other ingredient. They give it a kick, but never too spicy, more a condiment like a really good pickle. I especially like tucking a few rings in with good cheese, any flavor between two pieces of bread. I try to keep it on hand all the time and you will, too.
Tell ya what... You're in a snack mood. Go get yourself a nice pinch full of really good pepperoni slices (Hormel is truly flavor able), grab a respectful pinch of these DELICIOUS banana peppers and bless your mouth with these alongside the pepperoni slices, chew them up together and THOROUGHLY enjoy the smokiness of them pepperoni melded with the crunch of those banana pepper slices and I tell you WHAT! So, bless your self ( because you deserve it), bless your face (you WILL be smiling!) and bless your mouth because IT is in for a"Oh, wow, she was right!" kind of satisfaction! You're all welcome!
We love banana peppers. The mild ones have no heat, which we prefer. The juice is even delicious and we pickle eggs in the leftover juice. We use the banana pepper rings on subs mostly, sometimes pizza, but we also snack on them right from the jar. They're also a nice addition to a pickle tray for office meetings, parties, holidays, or tailgating.
Everyone should have these in their fridge! They're great on sandwiches, in salads (even tuna salad, chicken salad, and probably even egg salad -- let me know!), and kind of subs, and so much more. I even use a little of the juice in the jar for seasoning a pot of beans and other things. Delicious!
Crunchy with every chewing bite! perky flavor. Tell you what, I have NO teeth at all but I can munch down on some pepperoni slices and grab a pinch of of these yummy pepper rings and "chew'' until they leave my face and I am SMILING all the way, spoiling myself rotten! Tip, though. Keep em in the fridge! They remain crispy and yummy that way, ok?!
I make nachos for myself and friends on card night. When I make them, it's old school the whole way.... one nacho at a time. Each tortilla chip gets a pat of cheese and half a banana pepper (nobody in my group is crazy about jalapeños), then the whole tray goes into the oven for about 10 minutes to melt the cheese. These are the best peppers for nachos.... just enough spice without burning your mouth, and great taste.
I bought these to try something new on a salad. They added a zip that was really tasty and are a constant on my grocery list. I am going to put these on a pizza next.
Vlasic is our favorite brand for yellow pepper rings - they are very crisp, mild but have a great taste. We always have one in the fridge and one in the pantry for backup.
Yummy on sandwiches and tossed with avocado tomato cucumber and olives... Oh yea add some feta , blue or goat cheese too. Yummy
The peppers taste ok,but there's something missing. If just looks was all we were looking at. Then this is the one. But to consider everything it's not there for me.
