Vornado Evap3 Whole Room Evaporative Humidifier, 700 sq ft Coverage, Black

Works great, we have a whole house humidifier attached to the furnace. The whole house humidifier wastes a lot of water as most of it runs down the drain instead ov evaporationg. Our water bill goes up dramatically when its cold, almost as much as watering the lawn in the hot summer. Running this Vornado has cut the water bill, it should pay for itself in two seasons. Simple to use, has two evaporating pads that are cheap to replace.

This is a great product that is replacing my old Vornado humidifier. I was happy to find the same model. It is so quiet and I can set it to whatever humidity level I like. I wanted an evaporative one, and this is. Im glad I found one that does not must.

This humidifier works very well. It is so quiet that you're not sure if it's running. But when you check the humidity in the room, you know it is very efficient. We even bought a second one to put upstairs.

This product is easy enough to use and the mist coverage is good but it said in the specs it had a low light indicator-it doesn't have one, and the humidity in my apartment went up to 44% after running it overnight but it was good so I put the humidifier on 45% setting around 5pm and my hydrometer meter is now saying 33% but the humidifier isn't running. So not very happy with it.

Tank must be removed for filling. That's easy. To fill it,you must remove the tank and bring it to kitchen sink, turn it upside down, remove a large plug by rotating a short turn, exposing empty tank. Fill it from the faucet. Upon completion, re-install the plug, and then reverse the tank to access the built-in carry slot and return it to the humidifier. Water is very heavy, male no problem. Woman will have difficulty carrying it and dropping it into the reservoir. Otherwise, unit works fine. Fillups required every 2-3 days maximum.

Buyer beware! This humidifier was great, until it wasn’t. Kept a towel underneath it just in case and it was no match for the water that was slowly seeping into my hardwood floors from this machine. To make matters worse, when I took the whole thing apart I found that the filters had mold all over them!!!! Now my floors are warped and stained. Do not buy.
