I bought this product to help with outside older rusted items around our home and let me tell you it has made these items look almost brand new! I used to just pour some coke on it and look back the next day, but this product has taken things to the Next Level!
I can't afford to buy all my tools new. In fact - none of my big tools - from scroll saw to band saw to jointer and drill press - all used. All had rust issues when bought. I knew - oye rust? I think I can fix that - might have a stain here or there - but - I can make it baby butt smooth. And this is what I go for. In fact - this year I left for a bit and forgot to wax my band saw table - when I came back - about 1.5 months later - it had surface rust and the wood didn't slide smoothly like it should .. spread this stuff on it like I did when I first got it and used a bit of steel wool and 1000 or 4000 grit sand paper on it .. and .. a little Johnson's Paste Wax .. and I have a very slippery sliddey surface again .. ready to make some saw dust.
Removed rust from iron. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a gallon of this free as a promotional product and now I use this stuff extensively for rust repair on my trucks, being from a winter salt state it's great to soak the parts for additional paint prep, patina might look cool down south but up north it just turns to rot. As for air compressor guys review, this stuff will not dissolve sediment blocking a drain hole, it creates more of it by dissolving all the rust.
Started collecting old antique barn lamps. Try removing rust from all of the small parts by hand. Tried WD-40 rust remover soak. I was simply amazed by the outcome of this product. It allowed me to use my time doing other things while it did it's job. I will be using the product again and will be recommending it to others.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great for removing rust, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to use once applied and then getting rid of the rust on the various metal things I have used it on, its great.
Looks like water, no smell, not impressive out of the can. Just wait until you see what it does ! Like watching water boil, you don't really see it in action, just the results, and they are fantastic. Bought this heavy rusted vise at a yard sell. Look at it after 24 hours in dip. Too large to get it all in at once, so I'm flipping it each morning.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed with this rust remover soak. It seemed to work pretty quickly and did not cause issues with anything I used it on. Normally I just throw away rusty items but am glad that I will not have to any longer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had alot of things outside that may get rusty. This WD-40 Specialist Rust Remover Soak, 1 Gallon, is just what I needed to help with that. This removes rust quite nicely. I left a good tool out in these rain last week, and it got really rusty. This helped me save it. I recommend this WD-40 Specialist Rust Remover Soak.
I was extremely on your rust remover product considering I'm a big of all your other products! This rust remover was a complete waste of money and time it did not perform to your specification! I had initially used EVAPO-Rust overnight but I couldn't submerge the parts all the way. So I had some rust on some areas. I was unable to get some more of it but I did find your WD40 RUST REMOVER.I have photos but I was unable to upload photos
