WeatherX Weatherband AM/FM Radio and Flashlight, WR182R

Was worth the money when ice storm hit this was the only entertainment we had. we also enjoy we didn't have to plug up just crank it and battery was good to go. negative is that reception wasn't great you could only pick up a few stations.

I bought 3 of these for my 3-"EMERGENCY KITS". I TESTED ALL 3 UNITS, these are my results. . . 1) Need a SEPARATE CHARGER to fully charge BATTERIES. *CHARGER NOT INCLUDED. **Takes 3-REGULAR BATTERIES also. 2) CRANK HANDLE is a little flimsy. 3) CRANKING CHARGER IS NOT EASY. 4) CRANKING must be done VIGOROUSLY. 5) CRANK TO CHARGE PHONE = appr. 5-min. 6) CRANK 1-min. = 7-10min of RADIO. 7) CRANK 1-min. = 15-20min. of BRIGHT FLASH LIGHT. 8) CRANKING CONTINUOUSLY will make your ARM SOAR! *ONLY for the FIRST FEW DAYS though. . . I was unable to get a clear WEATHER BAND SIGNAL, but I am in DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND, so that may have something to do with it? The FLASHLIGHT keeps WORKING for a while as it dims away. The RADIO VOLUME will fade as the BATTERY WEAKENS. The flashlight will work a little while after the RADIO QUITS. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS. I PLAYED WITH THESE THINGS FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS. . . I PACKED THEM with "10-YEAR DURACELL" BATTERIES. I HOPE THE KEEP IN STORAGE WELL!!! WE'LL SEE in 10 YEARS!

Radio, flashlight, work great.. Great value for the price.. Tuner and Volume control are VERY touchy.. The absolute slightest touch throws them way off.. Set it and put it someplace where you won't even breathe on it, it's fine.. Use it at my campsite, does exactly what I need it to..

I HAVE 2 OTHERS NOT OF THIS BRAND. THIS IS FANTASTIC. DON'T HESITATE TO GET ONE. IT'S GOING TO BE A LONG, COLD WINTER. IT'S PROBABLY GOING TO COME IN HANDY.

Works great. I wish it had a handle for easier carrying. The crank handle is made out of plastic and you have to be careful that you don't snap it off while cranking. Great product for the $. I bought an extra for a Christmas gift.

I like it so much, I just ordered another. I also use it every morning and haven't used batteries yet, I just use the crank to generate battery free energy.

I got it to give as a Christmas Gift because I love the one I have.

It's a great thing to have around....BUT I do not think that the cell phone charger feature is what your should but this for. It would take forever to charge your cell phone on this. Better off to plug in your car charger. It's smaller than I thought. But that's fine. Works well.

I put in new Duracell batteries. Radio on for about 3 minutes and stopped! Replaced with more batteries and nothing! Took batteries out and turned the crank over 5 hard minutes and nothing worked! The smell of the Eco plastic smelled bad as I turned and the radio warmed. I read posts previous to buying pro/con. Took a chance. Really wanted a weather radio. Store return, sadly.

Cheaply made and poor radio reception in magor metropolitan area. Does not come will ac charger. No worth the money so I returned it.
