Weber Hinged Cooking Grate fits 22'' Charcoal Grills

but if the originals were stainless steel rather than chrome plated would not have needed to. Even if the grates that come with Webers were not, it would be nice to be able to buy stainless steel replacements, even if dearer. Some of us live right on a coast.

Great design, can add wood chips or move charcoal atound

Excellent replacement cooking grate for my Weber Grill

Purchased a hinged grill for My 30 odd year old Charcoal Weber along with 2 charcoal boxes. I now have what is essentially a new weber. Ver happy thanks.

Perfect solution to use with coal boxes to the outsides for longer cooks. Allows you to add wood or charcoal to side fires during the cook without lifting the cooking grate. Very nice heavy quality at least as good as the grate that came with the grill originally. Very happy with it, can't wait to use it!

Great quality and an easy fit to our existing grill

This cooking grate is exactly what it says. Heavy duty, fits perfectly, it is just like one that came with the original grill, and that one lasted for 5 years!!! Very Happy!!!!

The grate is fine, but overpriced. When it arrived a small spot of the surface coating was “bubbled” and rough.

Unfortunately, my Weber sets outside in the rain and even though I have a cover for it, the grate rusts. For me, they last for about 1 year. If Weber would make them out of stainless steel so that they do not rust I'd gladly pay more for it....... That said, I love my Weber kettle BBQ.

I have had to replace mine several times in the last few years - plated steel does NOT last long, especially in the conditions a BBQ subjects it to which are brutal.. The plating develops cracks/pinholes over time which allow moisture ingress and then formation of rust on the carbon steel underneath... I've had to replace mine every year because of rust and got tired of it. I'd suggest people avoid the plated steel offerings and buy an after-market one that is made of solid 304 grade stainless steel - Yes you will pay triple the price easily, but it will last you a lifetime. No idea WHY Weber don't offer a solid stainless steel version of this product; people who value longevity would happily pay the extra money for it.. Funnily enough I also own the weber Expansion Grilling Rack accessory and that IS made of stainless steel; I have had THAT product for many years and it still looks brand new, not a spot of rust on it.... Stainless steel all the way...
