Weider Quality
The bars and collars are well machined and the weights are smoothly cast iron. There are grooves in the face of the collars with rubber o rings to keep everything snug. Too bad they could not be made in the USA. There are 32 lbs of combined weights, with the bars and collars totalling 8 lbs.

Primarily I like that the set is very versatile. I can load as much as 36lbs on one dumbbell or lesser weight when using the two dumbbells for two arm excercises. It is just what I needed.

Great weights!!! But they do loosen frequently
These are great! Only problem is that the parts that hold the weights on tend to loosen super easily. As long as you tighten it a little every set or so (like during rest period) it's perfectly safe.

Would prefer a larger dumbbell bar diameter, similar to most rubberized coatings fixed-weight dumbbells.

Misshapen holes
A couple of the holes in the plates are a bit off so it's really hard to get them on the bar which then makes changing the weight during exercise time consuming.

Expensive and slightly unstable
this was a little overpriced. And the locks don't really stay next to the weights. I'm not super concerned about them falling on me because I should have enough warning to tighten them.

Don't Buy
Weights very hard to fit on bars,locks keep loosening when working out,Very surprised from a Joe weider product, But what can I do during coved 19 epidemic.Will address it when time is right.
