Small quality chisels, sharp and do the job
Small quality chisels, sharp and do the job. Some cons: The handles are very short and small diameter. A nicer chisel set has large round handles to give you lots of leverage, however these are great in tight spaces.

I bought this as a gift for my nephew. He has done woodworking in the past, but needed new tools. He was thrilled to receive these. Great value for the purchase.

Wescott carving tools are the same i had as a child when my father, a hobbyist fine wood carver, used them also. Never had a reason to choose another brand.

Very sharp and sturdy. They work on many different types of materials too, so far I know they work great on wood and clay!

gouge knife was what I got this for, but it broke the second time I used it. handle is not full tang.
