Westcott CarboTitanium Guillotine Trimmer, 12", White & Green

This is a great paper cutter! I use it to cut booklets. Description says it will cut through 10 pages but I do more than that and it glides through cleanly in one pass. Went from a very expensive cutter to this and it works so much better. Definitely has my vote!

I bought this to make inserts for my Happy planner and for scrap booking. This is an awesome paper trimmer extremely we'll made. The arm is nice and tight it stays up on its own. The whole thing is nice and light weight. It has both inch and centimeter measurements across the top, a very nice guard in front of the blade, and a nice rubber grip handle on the blade. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

This Westcott 12: woodbase guillotine carbotitanium paper cutter is great. It is just the right size, not too big, heavy or cumbersome. It cut sharp and made my projects so much easier than the small slide cutter I have been using.

It's very well crafted, the table is strong, the cutting arm has a nice feel to the hand with a sturdy blade delivering that precision cut, a crafty stylish appearance and surprisingly lite in weight

Sturdy, and the basic fuctionality is great (it cuts well, good base with graduated markings). BUT that plastic guard, not-so-much. The TINY spring-loaded plastic clips break at the slightest bump! I suggest a separate, hinged guard, or a clamp-style one. I also suggest that the guard have a visible grid on it, so that positioning can be done visually.

I had read reviews and wanted so badly to like this paper cutter. I was really disappointed in the performance. I was using it to cut 20 lb paper and cutting much less than the number of pages it says it can at once. I had only cut between 30-50 pieces and it was already not cutting all the way down, just folding the last half of the 8 1/2" side. I checked to see if something needed to be adjusted but that wasn't the issue. I tried holding the paper in different ways, everything I could think of and nothing helped. I ended up returning it. Will try sharpening the blade on my old one...
