This item was easy to apply, especially since the last time I painted it was finger paints by number set when I was 7. So far, no further mold has shown through. Maybe I should resume my finger painting and I was better at it than I knew. I would definitely recipe d this product. Now if only the company made something that actually worked for the weeds that grow on my lawn that I can never get rid of!
I'm really happy with this primer. I used it on an area with mold, and it covered everything extremely well. The application was smooth, the coverage was even, and it immediately made the surface look clean and sealed. It dries quickly and feels like a solid base for repainting. If you need something that actually handles mold and hides the staining, this worked great for me!!
This primer is amazing. I had all fences paired with end posts and all of them held a white color but the last I bought and prepared did not hold the white color. I was thinking they may have been untreated wood and kept leaking a brownish color onto the white and because an annoyance to look at. I thought a good primer that could be strong enough to prevent the wood from leakiing out to a different color was in need but which one? I read how people came back after blocking and killing mold and didn't come back and this is what I came up with. I love the texture and it covers well and covers completely. I love the color it was a bright white and never left a doubt that it may have done more to the board to not allow anything that could effect the result. It actually was so brilliant in shade that it in a way made the other posts look shabby. It was a bit pricey but if it could cover for good what more can I ask for? It has been 2 days, it covered well and dried quickly and it rained last night and had about 7 hours to cure and was beautiful this morning. i am still very pleased and will look into this type again because I do deal with mold issues and have trouble finding powerspray services. This at least reduces mold on painted products and is true! Thank you for a solution that I would look into again for the future. It has saved me so much!
it covered beautifully with the existing ceiling, although it was in a bathroom with no natural light. BUT it covered and matched very well my ceiling in my condo at the beach. wish there was a way to collect the spray particles that fall all around. Otherwise i like the product a lot!
Goes further than further than you think Buy a 2 or 21/2 inch brush to use right out of the can I used it to cover a BIG mess and it covered pretty well
although the title of the item says mold killer, it is not fungicidal in the formula; unlike in the normal gallon paint buckets. just something to keep in mind. if you for sure want to kill the mold, go with the mold killing gallon paint buckets for this brand.
I have used Zinsser Primers for decades %26 they always have work as expected. Zinsser primers are easy to use, the stain coverage is good, etc. Make sure you read %26 follow the directions %26 you won't have a problem. I bought the Mold Killing formula this time because I have a few closets on the outside walls that have some superficial mold on the corners after our cold winter combined with higher humidity in the house. I don't expect any issues with the mold coming back or recurring staining now that I have used the mold killing primer. I don't usually have mold issues, but had some work done %26 the air exchange wasn't set up completely accurate for the changes made. I don't expect any more mold issues either. I have never had old stains or paint colors come through the Zinsser primers in the past either. I definitely recommend any of the Zinsser primers %26 their other products.
You will be more than happy guaranteed. It looks and applies better than a coat of paint and works instantaneously ong
it did its job, basically... but the nozzle was hard to use, and it left this like... dust everywhere after use... I don't know if they're all like that, but mine was, and it was a pain!
When you ship a can of primer in a thin plastic mailer, you're obviously a risk-taker. When you do that without even wrapping it in bubble wrap or other protective material, you clearly don't give a care. You don't care that it might leak and damage shipping equipment. You don't care that the customer needed the item for an urgent home repair. And you certainly don't care that upon opening the package, I got mold killing primer on my hands and clothing. Now, I'm told to either bring it to a local Walmart store or re-package for FedEx, either option requiring me to clean up your mess first. While I'm tempted to tape up your plastic mailer and send you the leaking mess the way I received it, I actually care about the FedEx driver and your warehouse worker who will have to handle it. I understand that even when items are appropriately wrapped and packaged with care, sometimes they get damaged in shipping. That's not what happened here. The takeaway for you is that if you're not allowing your workers sufficient time to package properly, then you don't care about them much either.
