Wild Planet Albacore Wild Caught Tuna with Sea Salt, 5 oz Can

This is, by far the best canned tuna I've ever tasted. Solid white meat, no oils, and best texture. No additives. The can was actually packed tightly with 100% tuna. The tuna sandwiches turn out top quality! I cannot say enough about this tuna. I literally have 10 cans in my cupboard right now, so I don't run out! My sister recently visited and loved it! She asked for the brand when she got back home because she was so impressed.

This tuna is so much better than Starkist or the other tuna. You spend a little bit of more money, but the quality is so much better and it's a big chunk of tuna you can tell it's tuna, not tuna flavoring mixed with some kind of fish. do yourself a favor and buy this tuna over the others and just give it a try.

Growing up every Sunday we ate tuna fish but as an adult I found out I was allergic to seafood so I had to stop eating all seafoods. I missed eating tuna fish the most, long story short a friend suggested I try wild caught tuna fish, I found it, read descriptions over and over along with the price ( ouch) but I need to try it outweigh the price, so I bought it and Thank God! She was right! It's the absolute best!! And no allergic reaction!!! So Thank you! I will gladly pay that pretty penny again!.

Best tuna. The only one my family will buy. I also feel comfortable knowing that this tuna is sustainably caught.

These are not the Funyuns I grew up with, the taste has totally change, and it's probably because of a GMO ingredient. I will not buy these again!

I was looking for a substitute for Sustainable Seas Chunk Light Tuna, No Salt Added, which is presently out of stock. This is an excellent product, even containing more protein per bite, though for some reason I still have a preference for the taste & texture of the Sustainable Seas. Ordered some other Wild Planet products too, and found them all to be excellent choices.

I buy this on repeat to make tuna salad . We appreciate the quality. It is great to keep in the pantry or ready to eat in the fridge for those days when you need a little extra protein snack or a light meal. We season it well with veggies %26 capers.

I was surprised how dry this was. It was hard to break up to make it with mayonaise. I wint buy this type again. There are better options fir this brand that I have liked before.

I was disappointed after reading all the good reviews. I personally thought it had a strong smell. If I got any on my hands I couldn't get rid of the smell. I guess I expected it to be milder. It didn't taste any different in my tuna pasta salad. I guess tuna is tuna. It just stinks and tastes fishy in recipes. It's very expensive for a 5 oz can. As seldom as we eat tuna, I thought it would be worth the extra cost if it was a lot better than what I usually use, which is always the solid white albacore, but I didn't notice any difference.
