California Olive Ranch 100% California Medium Extra Virgin Olive Oil 16.9 fl oz

This is my go to extra virgin olive oil, however I am looking at the price for less of the product. Things are really getting out of hand at the grocery store. Things cost the same but I was shocked by the quantity, everything is getting smaller. Ridiculous.

I won't touch a Italian in olive oil since somebody told me it comes over in barrels and it is bottled here if that's true. I'm a little concerned about the cleanliness of conte containers. They're put on ships in. I don't know if this is true but the delicious Calif olive oil makes me feel safer.

This olive oil is 100% grown in California. It is not mixed with olive oil from other sources world wide with different time seasons of maturity. I prefer to use a single source, and it is a US product. I use it for pasta sauces, stir frying, meat searing, oriental soups, and a variety of salads. It is a staple in my kitchen.

after some research this is 1 of the only pure olive oils. it had a fantastic taste. all the olives are from here in the USA, so as local as you can get. we love this

Bought this for its health benefits. I don't cook with it. I dip my sourdough, pour it into my soup(after it's made), drizzle over already cooked eggs or avocado. It does have that (peppery) burn if it hits the throat too long. That's normal and means it's a real extra virgin olive oil of good quality. Water or eating bread helps it. By itself it's 4 star taste, with certain foods it's 5 star. It's great with Panera's ciabatta bread. If you don't like olives you probably won't like it. Mixed in with a recipe you might not notice it. I feel the benefits are worth it.

I highly recommend this olive oil. I had read a list of olive oils that performed the best and were the healthiest, and this specific one was rated super high. No rancid smell. The taste is excellent, and never tastes "off". I use it for salad dressings, bread dipping, and baking. The price at Walmart is good for this olive oil. Dark green glass bottle keeps it fresh longer.

I use only California olives and their oil. This brand is pure California olive oil and the best tasting among similar brands. Be careful when you select the bottle from the shelf because there's one with avocado oil that looks almost identical, unless you want that one, of course. Remember not to store olive oil in the fridge and never heat it over high heat. This loveliest of oils is for drizzling, seasoning, cooking over slow, low heat in sauces or poached eggs, etc.

Whether you make your own salad dressing, roast vegetables, saute onions, dip toasted bread, or just take 1 T. every day....this is the best for all. Full flavor and rich color. And made in America! Keep it on hand.

Fresh out of the bottle it is GRASSY/NUTTY not fruity, very PEPPERY. It is better when heated and not good cold as a salad dressing or bread dipping. It has a long after taste ,but not rancid. Better with a bit of sea salt. Bought it as it is highly award rated as uncorrupted or blended . I guess I prefer the fruitier olive tasting oils, which this is definitely not. it is higher priced

I never received this item I already sent you. A complaint that I never received it The bag had my name and address but someone else's order I gave it back to the driver I will never order from Walmart again because this is not the first time I've complained about it
