This thing saved me HOURS of time and works great. TIP: drill the hole and yank the entire thing straight upwards (don't reverse the drill to ease it back out) and it'll leave a perfect hole almost every time. I am so grateful I thought ahead to buy this before I planted 87 plants in my new flower beds.

I loved the ease of use, the only problem was that I attached the key to my electric powered drill. with all the tilling that I (at 66 yrs old) could do with this item, I lost my key and had to buy an all purpose one. But that is not the fault of the manufacturer. LOL ... this item makes gardening so easy to till and make holes for plants. it is made out of steel and is very durable

This review is regarding the larger auger as I haven't used the smaller one yet. However I bought the larger one to plant small perennials and it's a game changer. I'm planting about 60 small perennials this spring so instead of having to dig holes for each I was able to quickly use the auger. It's fast and effective definitely worth the money.

This was so easy to use and clean afterwards. It moved through the ground with ease and made the start of my spring planting so much easier. I am super glad I purchased these as I have beds to replant. It is very sturdy and thick, so I do not have to worry of it bending or cracking with use.

These work great in the Florida sandy soil. I highly doubt they would work well in clay. But, for what I need them for, they sure made my life easier this planting season! I'm using a small wireless drill.

These are very sturdy and do a great job boring the holes for the bulbs that I had. It makes the job so much easier and breaks up the soil perfectly to mix with the additional planting soil that I purchased.

The bits are a little shorter than I thought they would be. The pics projected them a little longer. I should have read the description more carefully. Overall, I've used them a few times in the yard and they did very well. Sometimes I just used the few smaller one but other times I used the smaller one as a pilot hole and made the hole larger with the bigger bit.

The bits did not work for me because my yard is filled with rocks and roots. Still had to resort to a shovel and spade to plant bulbs. There is nothing wrong with the product, it simply doesn't help. So, unless your planting area is clear of rocks clay and roots, don't bother.

Not near as big as I thought they were, also it's only welded in spots on the spines instead of a solid weld all the way up them the tip is something less than desirable extremely hard to start the hole without the tip having cutters on it but overall it's an auger. When ordering these order way bigger than you think you'll need and you will probably get the size you thought you wanted or needed to start with
