Wyze - Battery Cam Pro 2k HDR Wireless Outdoor/Indoor WiFi Security Camera with Motion Detection and Two-Way Audio - White

I have been a Wyze customer for many years now and decided to upgrade two of my Outdoor cameras. I ordered the battery cam pro and I'm glad that I did. The camera resolution is great! I love that the battery packs are removable without taking down the whole camera. The motion activated lights are a bonus. I highly recommend!

I have up graded from v1 wireless v1 camera which is still working but didn't like it picking up cars going down the road that was 150 feet from the road even though it was blocked with the app . Now that I have the wireless outside pro I'm not having any problem with it and it even picks me leaving the house everytime and doesn't pick up road ,so far its worth the money ,and I would recommend it

I purchased 4 of these cameras to provide video coverage of my exterior AND to provide much needed light in dark outside areas. They have performed admirably and have done what I expected from them. If you use multiple Wyze Battery Cam Pro cameras, do yourself a favor and purchase an extra battery, or two, so you won't have to be without video/light when one or two batteries need recharging at the sane time.

A little confusing at first. I use this cam in conjunction with two wired cams. At first, the battery would expire in less than 48 hours. By changing various settings, I am close to the advertised life of 6 months.

I love the Battery Cam Pro, but was a little disappointed that I had to buy a subscription in order to use many of the features. It's a small amount to pay for the features available. I wish that Wyze would offer a printed manual, but they do provide support via chat or phone.

Simple to install. Wireless connection took a few minutes. At this time I do not want a subscription but may in the future. Limited recording without but so far we are happy with the quality. Actually purchased a couple cam pan v3 for indoor looking thru windows. Also good quality. I may buy another outdoor. One thing to be aware of is the indoor cam pan units . If you share with someone they will hear everything in the room it is located. No way to turn this off. There is a work around. Overall. Quality is very good

The Battery Cam Pro is a big step forward from the earlier, square outdoor cams. It's nice that they don't need a base station, initial setup is easier and faster, and the bracket has been redesigned for greater range of movement. On the downside, the cover plate which screws on over the mounting bracket is slippery and hard to tighten/loosen. It should have knurled edges to provide more grip, especially since it also serves to lock the ball joint into place once the camera angle has been set.

Mostly with keeping it powered here in Minnesota. It seems a USB power supply is needed in these frigid temperatures we get here. With that being said, I would have skipped the whole seperate solar panel thing and just bought a wired camera to begin with. Money not well spent for me unfortunately:(

I have 2 other cameras (same model). I was very happy with them so I thought I would add a third. This one has been very problematic and I should probably send it back. It doesn't alert me like the others do or when it should, but it will randomly sound the alarm though it is in a closed garage. I've updated the software but still happens.

We have purchased products in the past and were quite happy. We have recommended wyze to many people. But this purchase is being returned. Setup not as easy/ compatible as in the past. Also trying to get something returned is a huge hassle and STILL not resolvef.
