Wyze WSHMS-6M Home Security System Core Kit with Hub, Keypad, Motion Entry Sensor Professional

I replaced an older Alarm.com system with the Wyze system in my home and love the control I have over it so much that I bought a second system for my Shop. It's also saving me money. I have Solar Pan Cam x2, Duo Cam, the newer Cam v4 x3, pan Cam to complete the full monitoring system. Not all cameras can connect to the monitoring yet but I think that integration might be coming.

The item was a 'replacement' for a product I have been using for a couple of years...I REALLY like te WYZE products and the one I had was damaged when a cleaning lady knocked it off the side table it rested on. WALMART was the best priced option to replace it more importantly WALMART HAD THE ITEM when even the Manufacturer could not tell me when they could ship one to me. I have no issues ordering from WALMART, ever!

Easy setup and great value. Just wish I didn't always have issues setting things up in the android app. I have to borrow my wife's I phone everytime I need to do something to set up

When it works, it works. Which is most of the time.

The software can be glitchy with the home monitoring seeming to reset every time I use the android widget, but then fixing itself when I remove the widget. There have also been some instances of the countdown tone, when the alarm trips, continuing after it has been disarmed, which leads to some confusing moments. Dispite that i find value in the package as the hardware, convenience, and peace of mind the service provides is well worth the money. I hope to see bugs fixes to the issues I've found and improvments, like maybe the ability to change the hubs tones to different/custom sounds.

I couldn't get it working right, too complicated to figure out. I tried multiple things and didn't trust it enough to use it.

The product is very good and the support I had from Wyze was second to none. My problem is with Walmart, after consulting with Wyze regarding an issue with the conection they informed me that I had a faulty HUB and to consult with my supplier for a replacement. I did, only to be told to send the whole kit back for a refund. I explained that I had installed the sensors and door key, and that removing them would cause damage to the door frames. All I required was a replacement HUB, but Walmart said no I had to return everything for a refund. So I contacted Wyze and after proof of purchase and a photo of the HUB, they sent out a new Hub free of charge, I didn't even have to return the old one. A big thank you to Wyze and a huge thumbs down to Walmart, don't buy electronics from Walmart as they don't stand by the customer or the product.

Wyze should make consumers aware that the keypad does not work without the monitoring subscription. They should put that in the description.

Defective must issue replacement under warranty. Never worked out of the box
