X-ACTO Bulldog Manual Pencil Sharpener, Assorted Colors

So happy to find this . My old one is 10 years old and finally started breaking off lead . Have high expectations for the new one.

It works really well, just like the teacher indicated in her review. It sharpens to a really sharp point that lasts and stays sharp for continual use. The sharpening mechanism is good quality steel. There is no comparison to the two battery powered ones I've thrown away in the last few years. Great product. Suction works well on my desk or work surface, then can be removed when I'm finished.

I love that this pencil sharpener will work on any student's desk in the classroom. I had one for several years which finally stopped working after being constantly used, and just ordered two more. To address a couple negatives in other reviews... The suction is not permanent (but is more than sufficient for sharpening several pencils in a row), so it has to be resuctioned by moving the lever which is very easy to do. However, this means it cannot be suctioned to a wall, as some seem to be trying to do. It is also true that the back of the plastic casing will detach sooner or later from the rest of the casing (in fact this was true for one of the ones I ordered). However, just apply a little gorilla super glue, and it is good as new. For this reason I probably should give it 4 stars, but it is such an easy fix, and I wanted to balance out the negative reviews.

I have a kindergartner and sometimes it is hard for him to us a small hand held sharpener. I seen this sharpener at walmart and thought I would give it a try for the cost. The suction works great and it sharpens just like the it should, it is easy for my son to use and I would recommend this product.

This does a great job and if I had any complaints it would be that it sharpens too well. The suction is a little picky, the surface has to be absolutely slick. It doesn't work well on my wood desk but on the granite in the kitchen it's a champ. But for the price I can walk to the kitchen..

not even worth the $5. it mounts with a suction cup which doesn't hold suction very long. ours has fell off of every surface we tried to mount it to. Lasted 1 day before it broke due to falling.

Never received it, cancelled the order rather than fool with attempting to reorder. Went and bought one from a local retailer.

it broke during the first half hour of using it. had to return it.

The vacuum does not vacuum to a table soon as you start sharpening the pencil it comes loose !! No Good Sorry
