Zacurate 500BL Sporting and Aviation Fingertip Pulse Oximeter with Blood Oxygen Saturation Monitor, Navy Blue

picked this up for my neighbor with COPD. She thought she had to go to Dr to get o2 sats, so I bought her this. Easy to use. Seems accurate compared to dr.

I really needed for medical reasons. Easy to use. I hope last as my previous one. Just arrived the box open %26 bent and with all accessories and instructions all over inside the bag, I hope did not fall or mishandled by Fedex. so far worked fine.

I know this isn't supposed to be used for medical monitoring, but in the age of covid and impaired lung functioning we wanted to have something that might give us a baseline in case we got sick. I'm certainly not recommending this for medical use, but I can tell you the results seem to be fairly consistent and it gives those results very quickly. It's easy to use, painless and takes almost no space at all. In fact, it's sitting next to me right now. One push of the power button and it comes on, and it's ready to read your O2 level and pulse rate in seconds. When you're done, push the button again and the Oximeter shuts itself down. Again, I'm not recommending it for medical use. Just telling you why we bought it. Impressed.

After using the Pulse Oximeter several times I feel it is very accurate with my readings at my doctor's office. The reason I ordered it was because my son-in-law had contracted COVID (Delta) and his oxygen dropped drastically. He ended up in the hospital, 10 days in ICU alone. Since I have a fairly low normal oxygen level, I thought it would be smart to have a pulse oximeter at home. I am elderly and have not had COVID. I'm trying to protect myself as best I can.

My cardiologist put me on medication to lower my heart rate I doubted that my heart rate was high so very much but In order to be a good patient I take the medication As directed And have found that it really does work.Imagine that I check it everyday using this device and I've been very happy that I could do that so that I can feel comfortable taking this medication.

checked it against the one at the hospital workout , and was at worst 1 count different than theirs on heart rate .

Display letters and numbers are large and red and disconnected by dashes making it hard to read. The instructions say staring at it very long can damage your eyes and even cause blindness!

The description says it comes with batteries and lanyard. First, it did not come with batteries. The other thing, I'm not sure if it is a Zacurate as it does not say that anywhere on the box or oximeter. It also does not look like the one in the package. I feel like I was overcharged if I did not get what I asked for.

I found my old one oximeter and I know it's work fine. This one I bought gives low readings and not correct. Do no buy. Low reading does not work correctly.

If an oximeter is not accurate, it is useless. The Zacurate we received did not work properly. If we believed the results we would all be dead. My wife was a Nurse for 25 years and knows how to work an oximeter. We called the company and followed a few suggestions but no luck. Will have to return to Walmart.
