Zatarain's Gumbo Mix, 7.0 oz Box

This product is so good and very hard to find in stores in my area. I was happy when I found it online at Walmart so I ordered a dozen boxes. I cooked it the day after delivery and it was delicious. I add shrimp, chicken, smoked sausage and a can of okra, tomatoes and corn

This gumbo mix is SO GOOD. I add chicken breast and only the best sausage ever, Conecuh. I also add about 1/2 cup of uncooked rice to make it a little thicker along with some frozen okra. This is a hit with my kids every time. This is much better than the Jambalaya mix. That one is way too spicy.

Very easy to prepare. I add chicken and sausage to mine. One of my daughter's favorite meals to make at home.

add some extra kale or collards and veggies from the garden,shrimp,ham makes a pot full,gets too thin tasting add a little bouillon and onion, helps to give the onion a little scald and celery first in pot

I was pleasantly surprised, it is very good. I added shrimp, okra and andoille sausage, and I didnt need to add anything for flavor. I will definitely keep this on hand at all times.

For a quick and easy flavorful meal, this should be your go to. I've eaten this in the summer and in the winter. Pretty much all year long when I'm craving the seafood taste.

The flavor is delicious. It only make 6 cups and we prefer 8 cups.

FIRST TIME I'VE TRIED THIS BUT I'VE ALWAY'S LIKED ZATARANS RED BEANS %26 RICE SO I THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE GOOD TOO . FIRST , PAY ATTENTION TO HOW THIS COMES OUT OF THE PACKAGE BECAUSE MINE CAME OUT IN 1 BIG CLUMP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PACKAGE AND I DIDN'T NOTICE THAT . AFTER COOKING FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES i TRIED TO STIR IT AND FOUND A CLUMP OF RICE AND ROUX AS HARD AS A ROCK AND VERY STICKY AND HARD TO BREAK UP . UPON FURTHER INSPECTION I STILL DIDN'T SEE ANY GREEN OR RED PEPPERS IN THE MIX SO I STARTED ADDING MY OWN INGREDIENTS AND IT'S A GOOD THING I DID . I FINALLY ADDED RICE, GREEN PEPPER, CELERY CHICKEN, AND SHRIMP AND CHICKEN STOCK %26 RED PEPPER FLAKES SO IT TURNED OUT OK I GUESS . NEXT TIME I'LL KNOW BETTER AND HAVE MORE OF MY OWN INGREDIENTS .

I bought this item and it said that I would receive more than one box for 9.99. When I got the package it was only one box and it cost $9.99. When in the store it was less than $2.00. So I should get a refund back.
