ZOOB RacerZ Car Designer

This toy surprised me. I expected it to be like other similar toys we have tried, but it is so much better. The size of the pieces were easy to work with and would work well for smaller hands as well as bigger hands. The ease of snapping and unsnapping the pieces was great also. You do not end up with sore fingers like you do with some other brands. They are tight and secure, but little hands could do it on their own. The directions made it easy for my youngest to complete the cars on his own since they contain pictures with the words to make it easy. The finished size was much bigger than I thought it was going to be also. It kept my son busy for hours, and I love that you can make all three cars at the same time. You do not need to dismantle one to make another which is great. We were able to race all the cars and create even more fun since there was more than 1 car. Makes it nice when you have more than 1 child, too.

This build set is very unique from the picture on the package as well as the name. This a great kit with enough pieces included to build a variety of cars, trucks and other things. There are 3 booklets included in the package that are very easy to see how to build the 13 suggestions to get you started. After that you can build many items using your imagination. There are enough pieces to build more than one car at a time so the child can use them in interactive play. The pieces come together very easy too. They are also very durable. The way that the wheels actually move is really nice. My grandson loves building things and he really enjoys this kit a lot. The age was 6+ which is very appropriate I thought. If you have a child who likes to build using Legos, this would be a nice change. This kit is different than playing with Legos or building blocks as it gives a child a new and exciting option to create many different items besides cars and trucks. I wasn't familiar with the brand but am impressed with this kit. I would definitely recommend this for anyone considering buying a build kit for a child and expansion sets to continue the fun.

As a child I loved toys that allowed me to build. The days of Lincoln Logs, tinker toys, and erector sets are long gone so now that I have grandchildren I have had difficulty finding fun, interactive toys for them to enjoy UNTIL NOW!! I love these ZOOB products. After receiving this kit first and playing with my grandsons I went out and bought all of the other sets on the shelf at Walmart. Interactive, educational, durable and entertaining - these toys allow for dexterity as well as imagination. I will continue to purchase all of the future products of ZOOB for gifts for any child not just my grandsons. We have built forts, race cars and cake decorating sets for a birthday party. I like that I can disinfect these items with soap and water or a little lysol spray when the kids are sick or if other children are playing with them. I am not a fan of many of the toys on the market due to the limitations or the low quality therefore I am very selective and quality motivated with my purchases. An amazing excellent fun product for kids of all ages. My sons enjoyed playing with the grandsons during the Super Bowl. A forever product to be handed down, collected and enjoyed. Love these toys.

I got the ZOOMOBILE CAR DESIGNER for my 10 year old grandson. He was very excited to get this snap together craft kit. His first car took about Less than 10 minutes to put together. He is used to putting the Lego tiny blocks together so putting his ZOOMOBILE CAR together went very well He loved that the ALEX BRAND KIT INCLUDED WHEELS THAT ACTUALLY MOVE WHEN PLAYING WITH THE CAR. He thought it would be cool if there were other colors for the cars in the kit. Maybe other kits have different colors, we don't know. I feel this kit would also be good for younger children who my have A problem handling the Lego type tiny blocks. The box says age 6 that Is a good age to start. You can also build airplanes, motorcycles, space rovers, and more when using the parts Included in this kit. If you like being creative , you can pop, click , and snap a great ZOOBMOBILE CAR, TRUCK, AIRPLANE, what ever you can think of. I am going to recommend this to other parents and grandparents. This kit was a fun kit to work on if old enough by yourself or with other Friends. There are enough pieces ( 72 ) in this kit so more than One person can build a project

The ZOOB Car Designer is a great toy that grabbed my son's attention right away. As soon as he opened the box he started playing with it by building a wild looking truck that he played with for hours before deciding to try to build one of the designs in the booklet. The box has 76 brightly colored parts and 12 wheels that can make for some imaginative vehicles. There are 3 different designs you can build included in the instruction booklet. The instructions and design ideas are very easy to read and understand. The parts snap together easily with cool wheels that spin on their axles. The parts seem very durable as some rougher playing with the truck design didn't seem to hurt any of the parts. It is recommended for kids 6 and older which is a good idea because some of the parts are smaller but also snapping them together could pinch their fingers if they are too close to where they go together. The designs in the booklet are great but after building them all and trying them out it seems his own designs are the ones he likes playing with the most. Lots of fun and if your child likes putting things together such as building blocks I believe they will love putting together their own car or truck to play with.

The Zoob Car Designer kit was fun for my 12 yr old son to build. It contains 76 pieces that lock together using a "ball and joint" type locking system. Many ways to be creative with these pieces and build either the cars in the directions or what ever your child can come up with on his own which is what my son did. The only issue we found with the set was in the directions. The directions for one of the cars was not accurate. Both my son and my husband tried to build the one car via the directions and it wasn't possible to build it the way the directions show. This kit was tested by children in my family who range in age from 5 to 12......The older ones have numerous Lego and K'nex sets and really weren't all that impressed with this set, but they seemed to enjoy helping the younger ones build. The 5 and 6 yr olds liked that the wheels move on the vehicles.. but racing them was not always possible since they frequently came apart....The directions were a bit confusing for some of the builds, even for the older children who have Lego and K'nex experience and even an adult....but, that didn't matter to the younger ones since they weren't interested in following the directions and enjoyed building their own creations...The kit contains 76 Zoob pieces, 12 wheels, and three instruction booklets with instructions for 13 builds. The Zoob pieces are fairly easy to snap together so that is a plus for younger children...and they seem fairly sturdy, but if they should get damaged they come with a lifetime free replacement offer.

My boys (ages 2 & 4) love playing with these even though the instructions are too advanced for them. Mom & Dad get to build those!! They are very easy to use for both the boys but I am disappointed in the durability factor. I know kids, especially boys, can be tough on toys but even under my supervision pieces have already started showing "stress fractures" and some have already broke after just over a week of playing with them.

Today's review is for the ZOOB Car Designer. The box arrived very quickly and in good condition. The set includes 76 ZOOB pieces, 12 wheels that work like gears and three instruction guides. It is very easy to open and immediately play. My adult son and 5 year old granddaughter played first. They decided to build the largest vehicle using the given directions. They had a lot of difficulty determining which pieces to put where. They also had trouble with pieces popping off when others were put on. Each little piece must be positioned correctly for the next to be put on. It was extremely frustrating, and definitely for older children. But they continued and were able to build it and enjoyed the time building. Then they both, the adult and the grandchild, built their own vehicle creations and totally enjoyed this time. The 5 year old took a little to be able to hook the pieces together, but then could easily build with them once she figured it out. Next my adult daughter decided to build using the directions. She decided to build the easier vehicles first. The directions on these were easy to follow and she enjoyed her creations. No frustrations because of less parts. It's really awesome that the vehicles actually roll and can be played with.There are enough pieces to build multiple vehicles at once. So, overall, this is a great toy for children 5 and up. The box says 6 and up. The many different creations could be endless. My family really enjoyed this building set and will get many hours of play with it. Just remember to be patient with the directions on the larger vehicles. I gave it 4 stars because only older children with determination can easily build larger projects.

I got this as an alternative to Legos which both my 5 year old and 7 year old adore. This has a different building mechanism and also cool wheels, so ideally should be perfect for my 7 year old son who loves cars. Also it comes with enough parts to make a few cars to race. However the design makes it hard to connect the pieces together as compared to Legos. My 7 year old managed it, but my 5 year old struggled. The box does state it is for older kids. However due to the difficulty level my kids have not ventured back to play with the toy. I will note that this may change when the kids get older. To sum it up, its a cool design but better suited for older kids who are really into cars.
