They Work Great!
These canning jar lids are the best! They fit the jars and have a good edge for sealing things. Plus they're nice to keep around the house in case you need a new one. I've never been disappointed with Ball lids. They work great!

The name Ball holds merit for being a great fit for your canning needs. The seal of these regular mouth lids verify that the durability of Ball products is A . The price remains acceptable during inflation costs. I would still pay for the Ball name no matter what the cost because the have a proven track record in my household!

I've used this brand of jar seals/caps for over 50 years. I know there are now other brands, but I am not interested in trying them. Over past year I've made diferent kinds of jam and applebutter. Jar seals and caps worked perfectly. The seals gave popping sound that indicates jars were tightly sealed. I opened a jar of applebutter last week. I had to use a butter knife to get seal off. This how seals should work.

Lids for Ball jars, work well
These work as they should on the ball regular mouth jars. I do not use these for canning rather for crafts. The price was discounted so I got another 12 of them to have on hand. They are really nice lids and fit the jars well. You can not usually find an off brand that will work for the jars.

The rings and seals don't seam to have the same quality that I have expected from the Ball Company They change color and looks like rust and there is a film that will peal off of the rings I don't know how to show pictures here I pushing 80 years old and don understand this new technology.

Canning with Ball
I have used Ball products for over 50 years and they are the easiest and usually error free during canning. I could not find any in the three stores that would carry this product since we live in a very rural area, so the benefit of having internet and being able to order was a great relief. Fruits and veggies are coming fast and furious and need to get them canned. Just remember to remove rings while cooling, as they will rust if left off from water bath.

After making thousands of jars of jam, I stick with Ball lids exclusively. Their fail rate is much less than any other brands we tried.

Item is fine but it would have been nice if the person who put the tape on it and packed it for delivery would have checked to see that all the rings and seals were in the box. Before I even opened it, I could tell from the feel that they weren’t all in the box.
