Camellia beans are the best for red beans and rice! They are great quality and way more fresh than other store bought dried kidney beans. I am so grateful there is reasonable shipping offers for out of state/Louisiana deliveries! (I used to haul A LOT of beans in my luggage when we lived overseas— one of my top most missed things from home!)
Camellia Brand Red Kidney Beans are the only product I use to make monday's Cajun Red Beans. The very best for Red Beans and Rice. Camellia brand can be hard to get some times, just glad Walmart carries them.
I buy these bean for my Monday Red Beans and Rice and they are always great after a 24 hour soak. And then put them back under water and heat them up for about 1 1/2 hours. And they are the tastiest after you add some salt and some Cajun seasoning and maybe add a lbs. of sausage to it and check the seasoning. If it tastes great then cook up your Rice. And ENJOY the Camellia Famous New Orleans Red Beans And Rice
These beans offer an excellent source of plant-based protein, with about 11-15g per cooked cup, making them a fantastic, wholesome staple. They have a great, natural earthy smell and creamy flavor without any artificial extracts or added ingredients (outside of optional seasonings you might add yourself), just 100% red kidney beans. The ease of use is a major highlight; after a quick rinse, you just simmer them for 1 to 1 1/2 hours to creamy perfection, which is much faster than other brands I've tried.
First met your product in 1990 in a NOLA Schwegmnans grocery store & have never looked back. Theres no reason to use beans sourced from any other retailer. None. Do yourself a favor & source all your beans from this company. You will never regret it
Excellent and consistent quality and taste. I have enjoyed Camellia Red Beans every Monday for a long time.
I don't cook red beans often but when I do I want them to be like the ones mama cooked when we were kids and Camellia red beans are what she always used. That is why I prefer this brand.
Red beans and rice. A classic Cajun and Creole meal. I m told that I cook really good red beans and rice. I highly suggest that you try to make them. It has a recipe on the bag.
These are the best Red Beans . I should know, I was raised on those beans. However, Walmart charges too much for them. .You should get your Red Beams from somewhere else.
Never received my camilla red beans. Now that is something I get up early in the morning to cook all day. I will have to come with plan B now.
