During the winter, I often make chili. I prefer my chili to be spicy. These tomatoes are seasoned with spices which helps make a wonderful pot of chili. The texture and appearance of the diced tomatoes is excellent. I have purchased these many times and the quality is consistently excellent.
ROTEL adds a delicious kick to any tomato-based meal. I love the spice and the variety of peppers added. The shelf life is acceptable. Some canned products can give off a strange taste, but this does not. Admittedly, the cans are typically used within a month of purchase. I add ROTEL to chili and sloppy joe sandwiches to boost the flavors. My next dish, homeade spicy pizza. Definitely my go to!
Best in it's class, hands down. Want pico for taco, there you go, no need to add anything. Want pico for quesadilla, there you go, add meat and cheese to that tortilla and pan sear Want slightly spicy queso, add this with your cheese and melt together great when added to spanish rice, I like knorr. I'm not paid for this but seriously if they wanted to just supply me 2 cans a week be happy.
These ROTEL Hot Diced Tomatoes with Habaneros (10 oz) bring bold heat and vibrant tomato flavor to every dish! The spicy habaneros add just the right kick without overpowering the savory diced tomatoes, making this a perfect base for soups, chilis, queso, tacos, casseroles, or Mexican‑inspired recipes. Easy to use straight from the can, and the flavor blends beautifully with beans, meats, rice, and pasta dishes. A pantry must‑have for those who love a little fire in every bite — five stars all the way! 😋🌮🍲
I use this in a lot of my recipes that ask for tomatoes sauce or paste. It adds a great kick and flavor but I don always use the whole can. I save the rest in a zip lock and put it in the freezer and use it as needed for my meals that I make. My favorite is Spam yes Spam chopped up cooked then just add the Rotel. Makes a great breakfast meal of course with some eggs, beans, potatoes and tortillas.
I typically cook with mild rotel when preparing dinner for my family, however, an accidental purchase turned pleasant surprise. Decided to make this into chicken spaghetti and it tasted amazing - everyone loved it!
Dented cans wrong items. Four of the cans were dented and three were the wrong item. I ordered 6 hot rotel and only got three. The other three were Original. Now I have to go to the store to finish my meal.
I only got one hot and an original no salt added. If you have to submit substitutions make it as close to the same as the original
You're doing that so damaged cans it causes botulism
Placed an order on 12/28 to be delivered 12/30. The order was delayed. Rescheduled the order to come on the morning of 12/31. The order was delayed again. No communication except at text an hour after it should have been delivered to say it was delayed. I ended up canceling the order. Not the first time this happened so I guess I will have to try another Walmart nearby since I pay monthly and my payment is never delayed..
