This is one of my favorite variations of flavored flour for coating chicken and other foods. This works even with a light dusting and an oil spritz to cook chicken wings in the air fryer or oven or even just to coat sliced steak for stir frying to dry the surface and seal the outside for a more-tender interior without the unattractive gray color that can happen when the meat almost stews a bit. I have already ordered another box!
Im allways looking for new and easyer way to make Fried chicken when i found this online at Wallmart. We liked the. flavor and it cooked the chicken nice and crisp, will be buying again
I have used this seasoned flour for years. I make fried chicken that everyone thinks it is awesome. It's my go to flour that makes the chicken taste great. It is just right.
I don't keep flour in the house due to diabetes. I got this as a simple solution to battering chicken and fish for fryer. It tastes great. They offer different flavors for those who prefer spicy or more flavorful batter.
I've been using it for years. Adds just enough delicious flavor to breading, gravy, and sauces. I use it to make dumplings for my chicken and dumplings.
It's flavorful without being too spicy and can be used in several ways, breading for veggies as well as meat , poultry, and fish. It hold up well in the air fryer as well as stove top frying.
I tried the air fryer instructions, and it did not go well. I used butterball Turkey instead of other meats. I did not flake up. It is not like shake and bake as alluded.
I bought this because it was seasoned and I just wanted to try instead of buying spices I needed ( which would have been a bit expensive) to season flour for Fried Cod and Shrimp. I should have stuck to my usual spices because I could not get pass the saltiness of this flour to even taste any other spice. Needless to say I will not buy this again and I don't recommend.
the kentucky kernel seasoned flour is not well seasoned. whatever meat that is "seasoned" with the flour, the coating has no flavor other than flour. the second time i used this flour, i added poultry season, pepper, powdered ginger, %26 pumpkin pie spice to season the flour %26 that had a good flavor. i will not buy this again. i will buy plain flour, season it myself, %26 save money.
Ugggg. Please do not waist your money and time with these if you like REAL dumplings. Yes, like most people are saying that they are stuck together. I could deal with that if the dumplings were true dumplings. This was nothing but thin noodles, nothing like a REAL dumpling. My family did not like these at all and I had to throw the entire dish in the garbage.
