I love these small fire starters! They work just as well as the large, more expensive ones. I keep a handful on my hearth and am ready to build a fire at any time. I imagine they probably create less buildup in my chimney as well.

Item is worth the money. It is just as described and I would recommend it. I even cut a piece off and used it for a barbecue it worked. I loved Duraflame products. They never disappoint.t item is worth the money. It is easy to use in campfires,fire pits,fireplaces.We didn't see any flying sparks they were very light and easy to carry.

One little "Firestart" is perfect for getting the flames going in our wood burner filled with dried cut and split wood. Makes the job of starting a fire so much easier!

These Firestarters are great and I have been using them for years. I use them when I'm camping and want to start a quick campfire without the hassle of putting together tinder (a lazy man's way out - but I don't care)! I recently purchased a few of these and plan on buying more to use them for my rocket stove and keep some for the Apocalypse (which we are seeing the beginning of in this world gone bonkers)! I recommend stocking up on a few of these for yourself.

This was so tiny when I got it, about 6"long and I had unsplit, semi-green wet wood for a smores fire. This tiny little thing not only lit immediately, it burned hot and for a long time. We had the perfect fire and sat by it for 3 hours.

Coldest days in Louisiana and I prepared for it and so I bought from Walmart…..they do not want to burn….I was starting it with a torch so the heat was sufficient.
