Gentle and easy to swallow fiber option

Ely July 12, 2026

These are gentle on the tummy, easy to use and do exactly what I expected. My family trusts these and they are a must have in my household. We prefer this fiber version over the psyllium husks. The tablets are always a uniform shape and are consuming them is easy water. They may look orange but they are not orange flavored--they have no flavor. While these are great an effective, my experience is that they do not give quick relief but are a long term solution.

Helped with my long term diarrhea

Stephen July 15, 2026

I used Psyllium Husk fiber supplement but it was not helping when I had persistent diarrhea. My Gastro Dr. recommended these and they worked. It improved some right but it took a little time to really get it under control. Also I started with 2 per day and then went to 3. 2 in the morning and one at night.

Just as good as major brands.

Janet August 24, 2026

My gastroenterologist recommended the original brand name. I researched and found Equate to be exact ingredients for half the price, works great for SIBO symptoms.

Worth the price.

Works pretty well, for those who aren't used to higher SOLUBLE type fiber, start with a pill a day split into two, morning at night dosage (1/2 a tablet). Then find a dosage that feels right for you.

Easy, no bloating.

Jennifer August 30, 2026

Tried all of the others out there. These don't make me bloated like other powders and such. I don't use as many as recommended; I only use 5-7caplets a day. No weird taste. Simply take with water.

Don't know what I'd do without it!

Connie May 28, 2021

It works well for constipation. Handy to take when on-the-go ( vs mixing Citrucel powder in water. That gets thick and have to keep adding more water, so it's not as fast to take.) Convenient and price is reasonable. Plus I don't have to worry about spilling it on the floor as I cannot get down on floor to clean it up. BUT it's been hard to get lately!

Keeps the day to day movements going-Daily!!!

MellyTJ April 6, 2026

When I ordered these fiber capsules, I honestly didn't have a lot of hope. I've tried all the other fiber products on the market. Honestly all of them! These helped my tummy in a way I have trouble explaining. They didn't cause gas or diarrhea for me. I started with the first 5 days and it only took 3 and I was already becoming regular, by day 5, I was like clockwork. It's been over a year now and I take these daily, and they are priceless to me. But I need to mention for the daily dose and quantity, these were some of the most inexpensive fiber capsules I found. I am throughly impressed and I 100% recommend these fiber capsules! Also they don't smell or have any weird flavor to them.

Doctor recommended this ten years ago...

lucymaz October 30, 2016

...and it works so well, I stopped seeing him so often! I have, or had, chronic ulcerative colitis, psoriasis, arthritis... three illnesses found often together. At least I have ONE of them under control. Increased fiber brought my cholestrol and IBS symptoms down. In fact I quit the meds for both (also had to cut out hamburger, but not lean meat). Compared to psyllium, this is better tolerated. Metamucil capsules actually triggered colitis attacks due to the rough nature of the fiber. The doc referred to this by the brand name, that's more than twice as much... Citrucel. Recently, to improve things even more, I added the powdered version to my protein shakes - makes it thick, smooth, like a thick ice cream milk shake. So less pills to swallow. HIGHLY recommend for chronic pain pill users, people who don't eat enough veggies (take a multivitamin too), as well as IBS sufferers (coliltis, crohns).

Wrong Fiber Received

Carl January 1, 2026

I ordered the Equate Daily Fiber with Psyllium Husk 300 count and got the Equate Fiber Therapy with Methylcellose 100 count

I've never had any problems taking pills my whole life until I took 2 different medications. One is Imodium and the other is this stuff. They make these so big which isn't the problem. It's the rough consistency plus the CHOKING hazard. It says you can split these in 2. I knew I had to do this. It was easier to swallow. BUT, did it go down all the way? No!! It got stuck and sat at the base of my throat. Of course, because it's fiber, there was the danger of it swelling up. I drank over 11 oz of water plus another 12 oz!!!! I felt it starting to swell up! Honestly, these are so dangerous. I'll never take them again! Immediately returned! After about 20 minutes, I finally felt it pass. Please, if you have any issues swallowing any pills, don't take these!! Why they can't put a smooth coating on these to get them to go down all the way is beyond me. I paid the extra money and went with the Citrucel Powder instead.
