These are the best canned refried beans sold in supermarkets. They are the right amount of salty, great texture and consistency, and have the best flavor. The refried black beans are amazing as well. If you want a more authentic taste buy these beans. If not, buy the other substandard beans.

The BEST canned Refried beans I've ever had - taste like Abuela made them! Full of flavor,not bland, no need to add anything. I have never had a better tasting refrito bean at any price and have tried them all. Excellent product! No kidding. Use for nachos, in burritos, side dish or alone, So good they don't even need cheese!

I've tried about every brand of refried beans out there and these are my favorite ones! They have authentic restaurant taste and quality. The beans are smashed up just right and have the perfect consistency. The 20.5 oz can is enough to make me about 4 fat bean burritos and the price is very reasonable. I highly recommend these!

It was almost tasteless had almost no taste at all . I mixed it with hamburger, onion dip and topped with sour cream then i could taste it a bit more. I want the full bean flavor not only 1/8 of it.

I really do like the beans. However, the cans were completely banged up when they arrived too my home. This makes it difficult to open.

La Costeña usually has some decent canned goods, but these beans were just bad. They were bland, pastey, and grainey as though the beans were not properly cooked. I don't even know how that happens with a canned frijole. I like La Costeña products in general but there are better brands out there for these.

If you're going to add non traditional ingredients like chopped up red and green peppers you need to advertise and not use a picture of a different product on your can. I have food sensitivities and these are completely inedible to me. I just wasted 2 dollars and created work me for nothing.
